Revamping Our Bathroom – Hollywood Mirrors
A month or two ago my dad came home with a big box and said that he had bought a new bathroom mirror for us. Our old mirror was wonderful. When it was new, it was a motion sensor and would light up every time you went into the bathroom. Over time, the light would just turn itself on and off, which did become annoying. Hearing about this new mirror was incredibly exciting, but, and it’s a big but, he bought it without showing or asking the women of the house first. I know some of you are thinking exactly what I was, ‘what on earth was he thinking!?’ It gets worse. The new mirror he had bought was actually SMALLER than our current one. Questions ran through my mind, ‘does he not know me at all?’, ‘is he even my dad?’, ‘why would he do this to me?’ It was a shock to us all. Of course, the mirror went straight back into box and it hasn’t been talked about since. A few weeks later, the words ‘hollywood mirrors‘ arrived in my inbox and my faith in the world has been restored.
Being the over the top family that we are, we couldn’t just take the old mirror down and put up our new, improved, and actually stunning new one from Hollywood Mirrors. Oh no. Dad had to clean the entire bathroom top to bottom, buy several grout pens and go over it all to refresh the existing grout, cut out the old silicone, and then apply fresh everywhere. Before then cleaning the entire bathroom top to bottom again. It took a very long weekend and two nights without a bath but what a difference it has made! The fresh grout and fresh silicone, combined with the incredibly bright lights from the Hollywood Mirrors Glam LED Illuminated Vanity Mirror means our bathroom has never looked whiter! Just to annoy my dad, we did joke that it does look a little ‘too white’. He didn’t find us funny.

I’m wearing a Yours Clothing dress in these photos and using my favourite MAC Diva.
Out of all the mirrors, including having one of the seriously stunning dressing table Hollywood Mirrors, I choose this one because I adore the huge LED dots and how simplistic the rest of the mirror is. The light can be turned off and on by moving your hand underneath the mirror. It’s very cool and it means that you just turn it on when you need it. Which is obviously much better for the electricity bill. It has an incredibly modern look and modern features with its built-in pads that heat the mirror so it doesn’t get steamy. Isn’t that fancy!? The lights have a 120,000 hour lifetime and a 1 year warranty.
The mirror featured here is £219.99 but they have so many options and I really can’t stress enough how much you need to check out the dressing table mirrors, they are truly so stunning.
