Georgina Grogan, Disabled, Plus-Size Content Creator
I’m Georgina Grogan, a 31-year-old Disabled Content Creator and accessibility advocate based in Sheffield. I founded She Might Be Loved back in 2013 (followed by my online magazine, She Might Be, in 2016) as a space to share my love of beauty, fashion, and body confidence, and what started as a personal blog has grown into an award-winning platform that celebrates plus-size fashion, lifestyle, and disabled representation.

I’m Disabled, with a couple of chronic illnesses, most of which I’ve written about on my blog, including my chronic pain journey, getting diagnosed with Lipoedema, bile acid malabsorption after gallbladder removal, and my adenomyosis diagnosis.
My aim has always been to talk about these experiences openly, because representation matters, and so does honesty!
Alongside creating content, I now work at Sociability, a disability tech company making the world more inclusive through accurate accessibility information, as their Community Growth Officer. It’s a role that combines everything I care about: inclusion, accessibility, and creating lasting change for disabled people!
