I honestly forgot how much fun I have creating gift guides! It’s so exciting finding new and independent brands that I’ll be able to shop from for years to come and this Mother’s Day Guide Guide 2022 is no exception, there are some wonderful finds here that anyone would love! I actually met the owner of Cohorted just when the brand was first starting out in Leeds many many moons ago at a plus-size event. The owner was beyond friendly and welcoming, so passionate and I’m so pleased to see how well they’re doing, they’re thriving! This is one seriously fancy subscription box and for Mother’s Day, they’ve curated a box of high-end skincare from MZ Skin worth nearly £400! It includes a facemask, a serum, a retinol booster, and moisturiser.
Oh Mumma Subscription Box – £25
This is a seriously impressive subscription box for Mother’s Day worth £149 with some really high-end products including Sunday Riley and Murad. You can even buy these as a one-off and pick the things inside, making such a lovely gift for a new, or expectant mum, or just a mum who needs a little treat! I absolutely loved the encouraging words on the side of the box and the motivational pin included, it’s a beautifully uplifting box that anyone would absolutely love.
Wellbeing Sisters Personalised Gift Box – £25.00 – £100.00
This is such a great way to send a really thoughtful gift that is picked out and packaged with love to the budget you choose! The products are toxin-free and can be personalised depending on how much information you give them on who you are gifting! This is an example of a £40 box and two of the products below come to £40, which is great as they say that you’ll get at least 20% off the RRP of all the products in the box.
My box contained a wonderful selection of products including hair oil, facemask, nail varnish, chocolate truffles, and the most beautiful smelling and adorable mini candle I’ve ever seen!
Spectrum Glowful Discovery Set – £44.99
Spectrum is perhaps best known for their Disney Makeup Brush sets but they also have a great range of makeup and makeup gifts. The Discovery Set is a great way to try out things without committing to a full size, with their hydrating primer, illuminating mist, makeup remover pad, and mini mascara you can get a reel to feel for the brand and have cute travel sizes for your bag and going away. A glitter mist is truly essential and something that my mum absolutely loves to use to finish off a look and add a layer of shimmer, literally!
Arran After The Rain Luxury Wash Bag – £60
After trying out Arran in my Christmas Gift Guide I was so excited to get my hands on more. This is truly such a beautiful brand with such lovely scents and products of such high quality. I’ve already started using the Bath & Shower Gel and it smells absolutely amazing, I honestly couldn’t resist it! This is the kind of set you’d use to layer up the scent with the lotion, hand cream, and Eau De Parfum on top! The washbags that come along with the Arran Gifts are basically a present themselves with how high quality they are. Alfie has already moved over his bits and bobs to the one we got at Christmas and loves it!

I know what you’re thinking but I’ve been sleeping on a silk pillow for a while now and the benefits are so worth it. My hair is softer and in amazing condition, my face doesn’t have any weird marks from sleeping funny in the night, and overall, it’s just a very fancy feeling! This set contains:

A beautiful throw can also make such a great gift. Whether someone just has a lot of blankets and throws, or you know this would finish off their bedroom perfectly. It’s quite a thin throw but extremely luxurious with the enhanced rose gold tones on the diamonds.

I always love gifting someone their favourite drink to enjoy but what’s better than a case of their favourite? My mum loves white wine and it’s always exciting to try something new, this is a great selection of white wines to try that are mostly low in carbohydrates and low sugar. Our box also included a Spanish wine which we really love too!

If the person you’re buying for doesn’t like alcohol it doesn’t mean they have to miss out! Do they have a favourite drink that isn’t stocked at the local shop? Perhaps something you have to order in like Fentimans? I thought this was an absolute treat for Mother’s Day or any other special occasion, I mean, who doesn’t love coke from a glass bottle but Fentimans is just that extra bit special!

Beauty oils that you can use all over your face, hair, nails, and body are something that everyone should have in their beauty regime and I just loved the packaging and sizes of these from Aduna. Seriously generous sizes for under £17! They can be used as moisturiser, nail cream, and even to remove makeup! The benefits are endless. You can also add them to your other products for an extra moisture boost without that oily feeling being too heavy!

Here I’ve got The One face moisturiser with SPF20, which is super important! All Eye Need eye concentrate and finally Oil I Dream Of, a night out. The packaging is very luxurious and fancy, prices range from £40-$55 for the products I have.

You can really never go wrong with gifting Temple Spa products, they’re all truly beautiful and make incredible presents. This is a lovely set of a smoothing body scrub and vitamin B5 body lotion. They smell of fresh and fruity grapefruit and come in this wonderful bright orange packaging.

I actually always get my mum fancy shampoo and conditioner for most occasions now so when I saw these chunky 500ml bottles of Foxy Locks, how could I resist!? Argan oil formula to leave your hair super moisturised and soft, they’re vegan and cruelty-free, and let’s face it? The packaging is super luxurious isn’t it! I can’t wait to steal these and try them out for myself.

Candles really are such a perfect Mother’s Day gift so I am featuring a few in this guide but you really can’t go wrong with them there are so many amazing independent candle-making businesses out there, you’ll want to have a list to shop from! This is a Lime, Basil, and Mandarin candle for a mega zesty vibe and then more of a calmer scent with the White Dove wax melts.

Incense sticks are such an amazing way to relax, unwind and clear your head, they bring a peaceful atmosphere to your home and have been used in meditation and yoga for many years. Olivia’s Haven Under the Palm Tree – Soy Candle – £29.00
When I say this is the most beautiful-smelling candle, I really mean it! My mum has not let it out of her possession since it arrived. It’s a very sweet, warming coconut smell with the most beautiful vanilla, it truly smells like a tropical holiday and it’s utterly gorgeous! Super lovely packaging as well!
Cotton & Grey Twenty Minute Candles – £18.95
This is a really lovely gift idea for someone who struggles to take time out for themselves. The idea is you sit down and set your candle into the holder, light it, and spend twenty minutes for yourself. Either laid down or meditating, just looking at the candle, or perhaps whilst having a nice comforting drink. It’s all about taking time out for yourself and pressing pause on the world! It’s such a lovely thoughtful gift and really encourages the recipient to take more time for self-care.

Having already tried Echor’s sleep spray and sleep candle and loved them, I thought for this guide I’d try out their other products. My mum actually adores a sleep mask but often complains that you can still see through them and it really doesn’t help when you’re struggling to sleep. Echor is a brand all about getting a good night’s rest so they’ve thought about traditional sleep masks and made the blackout eye mask. This has extra padding around the eyes that comfortably blocks out any last traces of light meaning you’ll be able to sleep in total darkness for the ultimate relaxing night’s sleep. I also picked out the Wellness Journal as I think journalling before bed is such a great way to get any last-minute thoughts out and prep for the next day without things being on your mind whilst you’re trying to sleep!
Nikita by Niki Botanical Pillar Candle & Diffuser Set – £42
This is one of the brands that I am so excited to find, I am honestly obsessed with their entire shop, everything is so beautiful and elegant and fancy! Perfect for gifting or decorating your own home in it all. These two have gone straight downstairs on our TV unit, they’re absolutely stunning this candle and diffuser set. They’re both extremely chunky which makes them worth the price tag in my eyes and the scent in Lily-Rose is beautiful. We’re already planning to get Lavender when we need a top-up! Even the packaging is extremely pretty and luxurious looking. Definitely a store to check out!
Tile Pro Tracker – £29.99
I absolutely love being able to track friends or family, I think the technology is absolutely amazing and makes me feel so much safer. My dad already has a tile on his van keys and it’s so much easier than losing them all the time! You can attach a Tile tag to pretty much anything from bags and keys to laptops and cameras. I actually wanted to attach one the next time we travel with my wheelchair for total peace of mind, I mean complete assurance for just a £30 price tag? It’s a bargain! You can keep track of multiple tags from the same app too.
Red Letter Days Cinema Tickets and Dinner for Two – £60
Red Letter Days are actually how my mum and I first discovered spas and well, you know how that became an obsession! A voucher for a day out, overnight stay, or experience from Red Letter Days truly are the perfect present as they can be redeemed across the entire UK, they can even be exchanged. So, if you were heading away to a city break and wanted something excited to do and remembered you got one of these for your birthday, you could search for what’s available in the city you’re going to. From spa days to cinema and dinner there is truly something for everyone.
Boutique Gifts Crossbody Leather Bag Light Grey – £24.99
I’m a huge fan of personalised gifts and I love anything with my name on it, I always think it makes a great gift for a loved one too. What’s more special than seeing your name on something? Moments Home Fragrances Candles – £15.50
I actually follow the lovely owner and I’m so pleased to be trying out her range, my office has smelt beautiful since they arrived! They’re so beautifully made with lovely packaging and the scents are so strong which I think is really important with good candles! I have Cherry on Top with cherries and vanilla, my favourite and Meet Me at Dusk which is so so beautiful. I’m really loving mini candles and this votive candle of Velvet Nights smells amazing. Definitely a shop to try out!
