You might have seen that for the last few year I’ve really embraced and shouted about comfortable bras. I’ll wear them out and about, around the house, to appointments and they’re just so much better for my chronic pain and Molke bras are definitely the best. With styles like the Molke Original, Flexi-size or Racerback Bralettes, you’ll be able to find something perfect for your needs.
Molke Bras & Embracing Comfortable Underwear
Who are Molke?
Molke have been around since 2015 and they’re such a gorgeous company inside and out. From their inclusive marketing (which I talked about in my article for Purple Goat) where they showcase all sizes and abilities across their website and social media to how involved they get in the plus size fashion community.
Even though they’re not a solely dedicated plus size brand, they really do cater for, listen to, and embrace their customers so wonderfully. They’re based in Scotland and most of the products are made in their factory.
They’re all about reducing waste and promoting slow fashion but their ethics don’t just stop there, they also pay their staff a Real Living Wage making them a company I’m so proud to work with and support!
What size range do Molke Cater to?
You can expect to see sizes UK6 to UK32 in briefs, leggings and shorts, and they have one of the biggest ready to wear size ranges in the UK for bras – up to a 54” band and UK M cup.
Molke are one of the few brands you can call fully inclusive and it really should be celebrated.
Are Molke Bras true to size?
Molke sizing works a little differently to what you may be used to. With their Original Molke Bra you can expect to see one Molke size cater for a few traditional sizes, while still offering great comfort and support. The sizes have fun names such as Stellar, Cosmic, Super, Mega and Thunder. They have a size calculator to help you find a starting size and their amazing customer service team are always happy to help with any questions you might have. They even offer free virtual fittings!
What size Molke Bra am I wearing?
I do prefer my bras to be a little more comfortable with my back pain so I generously measured myself at a 44G which works out a 2XL Super although if I wanted a tighter more fitted Molke Bra then I could have gone with an XL Cosmic or Super.
For briefs I’m wearing the 24/26 as I prefer them to be more high waisted.
Molke Bras Comfortable Underwear Review
I’m wearing the new Stormy Lace print which is absolutely beautiful. I love the black band around the bust and on top of the briefs. The darker print looks so fancy and I think it’s very me too! I’m definitely into the more deeper/darker prints but usually just wear plain black.
I love the fit of this Molke Bra and find it so comfortable and supportive, the briefs are also a really lovely comfortable fit.
With Molke Bras they do tell you that the first few times you wear it that it may feel tighter than you’d expect, but after you wear it in it becomes really comfortable.
One of the biggest misconceptions I find with fabric bras is that you won’t get the same level of support and that they won’t look right in your regular clothes. As someone who wears a lot of lower V-neck dresses I definitely thought this myself for many years before embracing comfortable Molke Bras.
As you can see here, there is absolutely no way to tell that I’m not wearing an uncomfortable wired bra. With the Original Molke bra and its lower cut neckline I can wear all my favourite clothes without the added back pain of wired bras!
