AW20 Beauty at Very

One brand that’s gone to the top of my favourites list this year has been Elemis. My friend and I tried a trial pack and ever since we’ve been obsessed on getting our hands on more. Lucky for us, we’re both big Very fans and Aw20 Beauty at Very is better than ever. With so much Elemis and other leading brands to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice for yourself and for gifting others. So, what have I been using lately and what do I recommend? Unfortunately for your banks, a lot!

Elemis -Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser 60ml £39.00

Let’s start off with Elemis. The beauty at Very is full of Elemis products! I believe this glow priming moisturiser is relatively new to this year and boy is it impressive! I absolutely love wearing this underneath my makeup, it reminds me of a highlighting fluid that I use from my favourite foundation brand, but this is more moisturising. Use this alone under foundation or mix in with your base products, or do a little of both for a mega dewy look. This is a huge size at 60ml too, I’m going to have this for a very long time!

Elemis – Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash 200ml / £34.00

So this is the range I actually trialled earlier this year and now the resurfacing pads are my friend’s obsession! I’ve only just opened up another packet of mine as I needed to try other things in between. This range is seriously impressive and this facial wash is beyond luxury. It’s so thick and creamy, it smells a tad chemically but obviously, it’s a resurfacing wash, so the ingredients inside are helping to take away dead skin cells. It’s super moisturising at the same time and it makes me want to try more of this range!

Elemis – Superfood CICA Calm Cleansing Foam 180ml / £25.00

I’ve previously tried a CICA product when my skin went into turmoil and it really helped so I thought having something on standby for if it ever happened again would be smart. Turns out it was and I needed it not long after! This is a foaming cleanser but it’s extremely calming and it’s not drying at all. Although it claims it can take off makeup, I would say this is definitely a morning cleanser or second cleanse. This would not touch my makeup at all but it’s still a lovely product for dry and sensitive skin.

Pixie Beauty –best of Vitamin C £20.00 / 15ml – 40ml – 15ml

Beauty at Very, of course, has Pixi too. I’ve already had the full-size version of this entire range and I used the tonic and cleanser up so fast it was unreal. It really does make your skin feel brighter and fresher, with a lovely ‘awake’ feeling. The dinky sizes are absolutely adorable and it’s a great way to gift someone Pixi or to try a new range out yourself. The lotion and balm are beautiful making this a perfect gift.

Philip Kingsley -Elasti-Styler 5-in-1 Treatment 150ml £34.00

I first thought this was just the elastisizer hair mask in a different tube and I was about a 50p pump down before I read the 5-in-1 treatment and thought, this isn’t the same is it? Turns out it’s a brand new product from Philip Kingsley, this Elasti-Styler5-in-1 Treatment is to be used on wet hair as a primer. It strengthens, primes, conditions, adds shine and tames. I just bought a supersize of the hair mask so I’m so happy to have this to use alongside it.

REN Clean Skincare -Overnight Glow Dark Spot Sleeping Cream – £49.00

As I’m only 25, soon to be 26 at the end of the month. I luckily don’t have any dark spots just yet but my lovely mum does, so she’s been using this instead. Mum loves how moisturising it is and she’s really excited to see the results after a few more weeks of use!

AW20 Beauty at Very, Emma Hardie -Brilliance Facial Oil

Emma Hardie -Brilliance Facial Oil 30ml / £39.00

AW20 Beauty at Very wouldn’t be complete without Emma Hardie. It’s a brand I’ve wanted to try for so long now and I hear incredible things about. This Brilliance Facial Oil smells like a spa treatment in a bottle, it’s seriously so beautiful and relaxing to use with all lovely ingredients like vanilla, rose, lavender, camomile and more. I only use this on days where I had dry patches as I’m too oily to use it every day.

L’OCCITANE -150ml Shea Butter Hand Cream

My mum’s actual favourite hand cream, she is obsessed with this and constantly has a few on the go! If I’m lucky enough I can use some every now and again. It’s a seriously moisturising hand cream that is known for how good it is.

Merumaya Retinol Resurfacing Treatment 30ml / £40.00

I was really happy and surprised to see Merumaya amongst the beauty at Very selection. I’ve used and loved this Merumaya Retinol before but it’s true what they say about it taking a second or third bottle to see the full results. With using so many products I just never get around to that second bottle but this time I really need to because I forgot how much I actually do love it. In just a few days it healed a rough dry patch of skin and it’s really beyond impressive. It’s a good place to start with retinol as it’s only 0.3% so it’s not going to cause any dry flakiness as others could.

Aromatherapy Associates –De-stress Mind Roller Ball – £22.00

Finally, the last product is essential for right now. My life has been nothing but stress and I really love using products with a strong relaxing smell to them. This is beautiful with woody frankincense and camomile to help calm and relax the mind. Simply roll on your wrist or temples.
