The Botanist New Lunch Menu
It’s only taken over 4 years of blogging to finally get invited to Sheffield events regularly! Usually Alfie will get invited even though he lives with me, and I’ve been here for 20 years. It’s frustrating but now that traveling to London 3 times a week is a complete no go with my health, I’m so happy to finally be attending more Sheffield events and meeting more local bloggers. The Botanist is definitely one of my favourite places in Sheffield, simply because it’s so utterly beautiful. You can read my previous review where me and Alfie went for dinner by clicking here.

A few local bloggers and I were invited along to try out their new Winter Lunch Menu and it was such a lovely event. I got to meet some new bloggers and catch up with some that I’ve known for years. The Botanist Lunch Menu is available weekdays from 12pm to 4pm and it’s at such a fantastic price. You can chose from a salad or sandwich/wrap, with either 1 side for £7.50, or 2 sides from £9.50.
If I’m going out for lunch it means that I usually don’t have breakfast and if you’re like this, then you definitely need to order a sandwich/wrap with two sides. I ordered the Salmon and Avocado salad and as we were all sharing the sides so we could try as many as possible, it meant that I was starving afterwards. Mum ordered the chicken caesar wrap that was definitely more filling than my salad, but again with sharing the sides, mum was super hungry when we left too.

Which means we can tell you for definite that you need the 2 sides and there’s such great choices to choose from. Personally, on a winter’s day I think I’d go for the Cod Wrap (a couple bloggers ordered this and it looked amazing), sweet potato fries, and a soup (if you’re not planning on having a boozy lunch). The Chicken, Rice, and Coconut soup was definitely the best, it was so thick and someone else said it was like a paella.
There’s such great choices at The Botanist and just now whilst typing up this post, I saw a Bottomless Brunch on their website so I definitely need to try that out!
The Botanist is easily one of the most attractive restaurants in Sheffield now, for their cocktails, and range in their menu. On many occasions I’ve popped in for a cocktail or two, even just for their cookie dough dessert too!
I decided to wear my Elvi Star Print Skirt as I wanted something super comfortable but that was also ridiculously pretty, and a plain harness Boohoo body. You can read my review on the skirt by clicking here, but basically, everyone needs it. Also, I could not resist the cat bag from ASOS and oh my lord, it’s the best thing ever.

Have you been to The Botanist yet? I’m heading to their 1 year birthday party this week and I’m so excited! Be sure to follow me on social media to see more on the night!
