Vitl Vitamin & DNA Test Review & Discount
You know I love trying anything that helps me feel a bit more in tune with my body, especially since being diagnosed with bile acid malabsorption after gallbladder removal. It’s made me so much more aware (and a bit paranoid, let’s be honest) about what’s actually going on inside. So when Vitl offered to gift me their Vitamin and DNA tests to try out and review, I couldn’t wait to give them a go.

Vitl Discount Codes:
And just a heads up, I’ve got two exclusive discount codes for you at the end and right here, because who doesn’t love a cheeky saving?
BLOOD20GG gets you 20% off the Vitamin Blood Test, and DNA20GG gives you 20% off the DNA Test. Both are valid until 30th June!
Vitl Vitamin Blood Test Review
This couldn’t have arrived at a better time. I was going through a flare-up and had asked my GP to run a vitamin check because I was worried that BAM (bile acid malabsorption) might be affecting my levels. My GP could only test for Iron and Vitamin D, which is extremely frustrating and limited.
So when I took the Vitl test and the results came back exactly the same as the GP’s, I was actually really impressed. It showed me straight away that it was accurate and trustworthy. But what blew me away was how much more info the Vitl test gave me.
I got breakdowns for Magnesium, B12, Folate, and a full Cholesterol panel. Each result came with easy-to-understand explanations about how your levels can affect things like your energy, mood, or sleep. It didn’t just give me numbers, it actually explained what they meant in real life. Wherever my results were abnormal, it gave really detailed breakdowns on what this meant and if I needed to seek medical help and how soon.
In comparison, the info from my GP felt a bit like, “Here’s your results, off you go.” Vitl’s felt like someone had sat down with me and walked me through everything properly. It was extremely interesting to read!

Vitl DNA Test
This was such an interesting one. You just do a quick cheek swab (it’s super easy) and then a few weeks later, your inbox gets filled with 40+ reports on how your DNA affects things like your diet, fitness, skin, digestion, and even your reaction to caffeine and alcohol.
I found out I’m more prone to IBS, might not tolerate gluten well (which actually makes a lot of sense), and I’m more likely to deal with acne, don’t I know it! It also showed me whether I have a sweet tooth (yep), how well my body deals with antioxidants, and even that I’m more likely to feel anxious after caffeine.
There was so much that made me go, “That explains everything!”

Best of all, it’s not just random facts. You also get personalised advice based on your results, with tips from actual nutritionists about how to tweak your lifestyle or diet to suit your body better. It felt practical and really helpful.
I also loved that the DNA test didn’t dive into scary stuff like disease risks or try to trace long-lost relatives. It focused purely on daily wellbeing, which felt really empowering and a lot more useful for everyday life.
Vitl DNA Nutrition Test – £139
I actually asked for recommendations years ago on vitamin blood tests and lots of people said that they’re not accurate, so being able to verify this with my NHS results has really made me feel confident to recommend it. Whether you’ve got health issues or you’re just curious about what’s going on inside, it’s so detailed and easy to do at home
The DNA Test was really eye-opening too. It’s great if you love learning about how your body works and want a bit of extra help making healthier choices. I definitely feel like I understand myself better after doing it.
If you fancy giving them a go, here are those discount codes again:
BLOOD20GG for 20% off the Vitamin Blood Test.
DNA20GG for 20% off the DNA Test.

Let me know what you discover if you try them, I’d love to hear!
