Oisoi Sheffield has moved to New Era Square and it has a beautiful new home in New Era Square, which is fast becoming my favourite place. If you haven’t been to Oisoi Sheffield yet, you’re missing out on something truly special! This gem offers an authentic taste of East Asia with a modern twist that’s perfect for foodies and curious diners alike. From its traditional Hong Kong-style ordering to its incredible dishes, Oisoi Sheffield is an experience we can’t wait to share with you!

Oisoi Sheffield: The Experience

As soon as we stepped into Oisoi Sheffield, we were blown away by the chic and stylish interior, it’s modern yet warm, welcoming and just so fancy! It’s a really good Instagramable spot! The whole setup feels luxurious without being over the top, making it ideal for anything from a casual lunch to a special celebration. And if you’re wondering about accessibility, don’t worry, there’s lift access and an accessible toilet, so everyone can enjoy this amazing spot.

Plus, one thing I really want to point out to my fellow plus size pals, the seating is SO comfy. I was worried looking on photos as I thought the seating looked small with arm rests but they’re seriously so chunky. I personally will forever support a place that gives you actual comfy seats to enjoy your food in!

One of the things that really stood out to us was the traditional Hong Kong-style ordering process, which added such a fun and interactive touch to the meal as we ticked away on the paper order pad what we wanted. It’s the kind of place where the experience is just as important as the food, and Oisoi nails both.

The Dishes

During the day time Oisoi Sheffield have an offer on 4 for 3 dumplings but I didn’t realise just how many variations of dumplings there are so all of ours looked completely different but all were absolutely amazing.

Dim Sum Delights

  • Steamed and Fried Dim Sum: Literally every single person that came in (and there was a lot, this is a very popular spot) ordered Dim Sum so when we go back, I will be ordering a lot more as clearly this is the spot for it.
  • Seafood Dumplings: Fresh, juicy, and absolutely delicious, I’m still thinking about it now.

Main Courses to Remember

Oisoi Sheffield

  • Kimchi Fried Rice with Duck: I’m a massive duck fan and we both love Kimchi so this was a win-win for us.
  • Prawn Noodles: Noodles are life.
  • Teriyaki Chicken: This was super tasty.

With my new illness, I rarely ever have sweet treats anymore but when coffee ice cream was mentioned, I couldn’t resist and it was absolutely amazing! It’s a Sheffield based brand too and they were very proud of that.

Sweet Treats to Finish

  • Matcha Ice Cream: Smooth, creamy, and wonderfully refreshing.
  • Thailand Milk Ice Cream: A unique and delicious flavour you won’t find just anywhere.
  • Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream: If you love coffee, you have to try this, it’s rich, bold, and absolutely indulgent!
