Eylure Enchanted Lashes

Many years ago I used to love wearing the Eylure Cheryl Cole eyelashes every time I’d dress up, and I’m not talking about the ones that are still out now. I’m talking about their first collaboration with Girls Aloud! It was back then I discovered my love for false eyelashes and particularly, the styles that were longer towards the outer edges. I still favour those styles today, but I don’t often wear Eylure anymore as we all know I have an obsession for a certain pair. However, after trying out a few different styles lately, it’s safe to say that they’re back on my hot list for eyelash styles! Not necessarily styles that I’d usually go for either but I’m always open to trying new things.

I really wanted to mention these new styles as although they do absolutely nothing for my eyes (they’re not long enough or full enough), I absolutely love the designs and the packaging. How they’ve been designed to help people who struggle with false eyelashes, and to look so natural is amazing. These are the kind of lashes that I’d use on my mum, she doesn’t like ones that are too long or too full, in her words, ones that you ‘can feel on’. So these would be perfect! The Eylure X Emma Willis – Trix-a-Lashious Lashes and Insta-belle Lashes are just £6.95 each! You can wear either of them alone, or layer them up for extra effect.

I am utterly obsessed with the new Enchanted range and their incredibly beautiful lashes. Especially Power Flower. They’re a lot fuller and thicker to the lashes I normally wear but I just adore how they look. They’re not too full right in the inner corners, but they’re their longest right in the middle which makes my eyes look so open! Heart Breaker are my second favourites. Slightly more fluttery but with a layer of mascara these really come alive! They’re all super lightweight, they come with a little tube of glue and can easily be cleaned and reapplied, as long as you take care of them. Eylure Blend & Care False Eyelash Blender – £10.95

Sometimes I’ve ruined false eyelashes from applying the wrong mascara on top of them, or simply just too much mascara. Which meant that when I saw this new launch, I had to try it! Unfortunately it’s really not great at all. Although it’s fantastic at blending your natural lashes with your false ones without clumping, or making them look too heavy, it transfers constantly. I looked like a panda after an hours wear and that never happens to me. I was covered in mascara under my eyes! It’s a shame as this could have been the start of a beautiful relationship but the formula just isn’t right.

Eyebrows

Brow Paint Dark Brown – £8.95

I am only just trying out the brow products from Elyure and I love them! This really is a star product. It’s an incredibly soft paint brush tip that dispenses product so lightly and precisely. You can brush on brow hairs, feather fill your brows in, and darken it up to build layers. I have loved playing with this pen, it does take a little bit of practise and a very light hand, but the results are so worth it.

Precision Brow Crayon Dark Brown – £7.95

This isn’t photographed but it really is one of the best products here. It’s such a precision tip meaning you can really draw on realistic strokes to mimic eyebrow hairs. It’s as duo-end with a spoolie on the other side and you can really achieve a perfect looking brow with this. I’ve found that I’ve needed to cut out my brows less, as I’m just drawing them on perfect the first time! I love the colour payoff and my brows have been lasting really well.

Brow Amplifier Dark Brown – £9.90

Everyone needs a good brow mascara and although this one is slightly too wet, it still gives me the look I want. The colour is great, it’s a small wand so you can really apply it where you want it, and it wears really well. It doesn’t go too hard, and it dries quick enough not to smudge.

Brow Pomade Dark Brown – £8.95

I really wasn’t expecting this brow pomade to be as long-lasting, pigmented, and as creamy as it is, but it’s really fantastic! I’ve been using this in the mid-to-ends of my brows to dark them up further and I adore the colour on me. It’s super easy to use, the pigment is full throughout and isn’t patchy at all like some other brands. I’m impressed and it’s so affordable too!

Brow Palette Trio Dark Brown – £9.95

Finally, I’ve also been using a brow palette for days where I want a quicker or fluffier looking brow. I used to use these palettes by making my brush wet with the wax and then brushing it into the powder, but it gets a little messy and fiddly. Simply filling in your brows with the powder and then adding the wax to keep them in place is much easier. Plus there’s the highlight colour to make your brow bone pop.
