New Lady V London Lyra Maxi Dresses
Lady V London Lyra dresses have been one of my favourite styles of dresses since they were first released in 2015. I’ve had so many over the years, probably over 20, maybe even 30 different styles. They’ve always been my perfect summer dress, and now there’s Lady V London Lyra Maxi dresses, which is the most exciting thing to happen in plus size fashion in a while!
I immediately posted when I saw them and lots of my friends said that they’re very me, so I took that as a green light to order as many as I could of their first drop. The Lady V London Lyra maxis are now fully restocked and they’ve brought out more prints, so now I’ve got another basket on the go! Can I just live in Lyra maxi’s all summer? We’re going to find out.

They’re so easy to wear, the prints are always so fun, but they do lots of plain styles too which I’ve owned and loved many of. Lady V London Lyra dresses just last forever as they wash really well and don’t need ironing. They’re made from a really soft jersey fabric which always sits so beautifully.
I’ve always found Lady V London Lyra dresses to be super stretchy though, and one time I was accidentally sent a size 16 and it still fit me as a size 24, so I did have to pick a couple up in a 18 rather than a 20, but I think they fit just as perfectly!
Over the years I’ve worn them for absolutely every occasion, from just visiting the doctors (because they’re so easy to wash), or heading out with friends. There’s a print and style to suit every outing. I really love the longer sleeved Lyra dresses too, perhaps we’ll see some longer sleeved Lyra maxis for autumn/winter!
Lady V London Lyra Maxi Dress – Bordeaux

The only thing I don’t love is how high the side split is, but I’m wildly self conscious over my legs thanks to years of bullying as a child and internet trolls. So, for my own comfort, I have actually stitched them up to a height that is around my mid to lower calf, and that works better for me.
It was really easy to do and it’ll be easy to take out if I wanted to. I think the length is beautiful too but I always find maxi dresses are super deceiving on me at 5’3, and I often confuse taller people so definitely check out their feed for other, taller people, wearing the Lady V London Lyra maxis! I just fill out the height more with my hips so that’s why a lot of maxis work well on me.
Lady V London Lyra Maxi Dress – Little Lemons*

I’ve marked this entire post as a PR sample but just to be fully transparent, only the Little Lemons style was gifted, and then I bought the rest as I’m a genuine fan and customer of Lady V London Lyra dresses.
Even my mum loved this new style so much that she asked me to get her the Daisy print. We do love a dark floral print as they’re so wearable all year round. In both the Lemon and Daisy I’m wearing a size 20, but in the Bordeaux and Blue Bouquet I’m wearing a size 18.

They’re priced at £58 each which I don’t think is a bad price at all, in comparison to some plus size brands now, I know that these dresses are going to last for years and still look perfect. I can’t say that for others!
I have to mention that they do have pockets too! I don’t think I’ve actually ever put anything inside a dress pocket but I’m always happy to see them.
