If you saw my last blog trying Karen Millen plus size for the first time, you’ll know that it left a really good impression. This is a very fancy, extremely high quality brand with unreal statement pieces. For a quick overview, the Karen Millen plus size range is very limited with sizes 18-24 only, lots of things do come up smaller with them being very structured, tailored pieces so I would recommend sizing up for most things. For reference, I mostly wear a 22 in Karen Millen plus size, but at a lot of other brands I’m mostly a size 20 now.

Let’s start off with this gorgeous all black outfit. I am forever a maxi dress person, I just love throwing on a maxi dress and being done for the day! I’m not really someone who accessorises so I appreciate the built in belt too! This is the Karen Millen Plus Size Scoop Neck Jersey Cotton Mix Maxi Dress and it’s truly a beauty. A true statement on its own with this unusual neckline, it’s really business smart!

I saw that the model was wearing an XL, so I opted for an XXL for a really lovely, comfortable fit. I can see me wearing this for a long time! It’s now down from £119 to £59.50 which is such a good price for it. Karen Millen seems to have lots of really good sales and discounts which I love as it makes it accessible to more people.

I thought it’d go absolutely perfect with the Karen Millen Plus Size Organza And Satin Mix Tailored Sheer Trench Coat, and I just really love a trench coat. This sheer trench made me actually gasp at it’s beauty! I just feel like this is going to be a piece that I’ll be able to wear for years to come. I LOVE a statement coat, I’ve had everything from bright red pieces, to lace coats, I really hate a boring coat. Not only does it ruin an outfit by covering up, but then you just look boring all the time. So this is really up my street.

I got it in a size 20 as I always prefer my coats to be more fitted and not overly baggy on me and covering up my outfit. I’m not looking for warmth from this trench, well, I mean, is it sheer! But you know what I mean, I’m looking for pure style and fashion and I really think this trench gives that. From £149 down to £74.50. I cannot wait to wear this out, thank god fake spring has gone.

The Karen Millen Plus Size Floral Jacquard Corseted Woven Maxi Dress is an absolute beauty and for that reason, it’s already sold out! I’ve had a stressful two weeks so I can only apologise but be checking Vinted and eBay for this beauty. This is such a stunning summer wedding guest dress, any kind of really fancy event you’ve got coming up, I’d be looking at Karen Millen.

I just wouldn’t delay, as the real beautiful pieces definitely sell out whereas I find the everyday statement dresses and more business-friendly wear seem to stick around a bit longer.
