L’Occitane Top 5 Favourites

L’Occitane is another one of those brands that have just been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. As you’ve probably guessed by now, my mum has stuck to her favourite brands for years and that’s why we’ve always had them. It wasn’t until recent years that we started branching out more with her few favourite companies and exploring their ranges properly. Until then it was just the staple products from each and from L’Occitane those staples were the Shea Butter Hand Cream and the Almond Shower Oil, which is even my dad’s favourite too! Over the last few years we’ve been trying out more and I wanted to share with you our new L’Occitane Top 5 Favourites.

LOccitane Top 5 Favourites

L’Occitane Shower Oil – £33.00

After finally trying this myself I can completely and utterly understand why my parents have liked this for so long! To be honest the name actually is what has kept me away all these years as I absolutely hate oils in the shower! It’s a health and safety hazard and so frustrating to clean up. This is no ordinary oil though, sure it comes out like what and feels like one going on the skin but when it comes into contact with water it turns into the most beautiful thick subtle foam. It’s a complete luxury!

There’s no wonder it’s won so many awards and now comes in different refillable sizes too! There’s a really calming scent from it that’s really soft and it’s so great on even the most sensitive skin! My friend has ended up buying some too and he also loves it. He told me to run some under the bath tap for a dreamy bath and it works so wonderfully! I’d highly recommend this to anyone and I’ll be buying more for the family this Christmas!

L’Occitane
L’Occitane Lavender Foaming Bath – £28.00

I’ve always loved a bath and I love trying out new products! I remember having a travel-sized version of this in a hotel room years ago, it was a pure luxury but I forgot to pick up a bottle. Lavender is one of my all-time favourite scents (another thing my mum influenced) so this is such a dreamy bath. It makes such a lovely bath and again really has that luxurious feeling to it! It’s a tad on the pricey side but you can get a lot of baths out of this. It’s the perfect one to use when you need a really good night’s rest or you’ve had a super long day.

L’Occitane Ultra Rich Body Scrub – £30.00

I’m a massive fan of body scrubs. I have those spots on my upper arms that I’ve never been able to get rid of, but I love trying out new products to see if I can get them to feel smoother. The first time using this scrub I knew it was a new favourite! This beautiful scrub is 10% shea butter which means it instantly feels moisturising on dry skin. It really does buff your skin so it feels soft and smooth afterwards!

L’Occitane Youth Hand Cream – £25.00

Although my mum’s favourite will always be the Shea Butter version (and counting that as Number 5 in this post), I think the Youth Hand Cream is absolutely so special. It has 97% natural origin ingredients in a 95% recycled tube and with 95% biodegradable ingredients! How amazing is that? I just feel like this one does a bit more and judging by the amazing reviews, so do others! I prefer to use my hand cream at night to give it as long as possible without having to wash it off. This was really so beautiful and something I’d definitely use in the future.

It’s been so exciting getting to know the other things that L’Occitane have to offer, it really is such an incredible brand! Have you got a L’Occitane favourite? Let me know in the comments!
