Halloween Poison Ivy with Fragrance Direct

Obviously with having bright red hair, most of you will have seen this look coming. This week I teamed up with the lovely people at Fragrance Direct to bring to you a Halloween Poison Ivy inspired look. I say inspired as I didn’t quick stick to the original leaf patterns and decided to create a speckled effect around my face instead. I just couldn’t bear to not define my cheekbones and I feel it really brought the look together. Fragrance direct sent me an incredible box of goodies with just about everything I’d need to create this Poison Ivy Halloween Look. Including an incredibly bright wig. Unfortunately with my slightly V shaped hairline, it did create a little difficulty trying to get the wig to sit properly, but nothing that a different camera angle could not disguise sort….

Therefore, I thought it was best to get out my Annabelle Wig’s Long Red Curly Marie 3/4 Wig and rock my own fringe. Like everyone else, I’ve seen just about every Poison Ivy look now from scary to sexy. So, of course I wanted to stay towards the glamorous and more sexy side to things….
For the base I mixed Illamasqua Rich Base in White with a tad of the green from Evie Mai Silk Collection Eyeshadow Palette (£15) with a touch of Collection Powder on top to minimise the shine.
I then used my MUA Fixing spray and the W7 black mascara on the rough end of an eyebrow brush to flick speckles around my face and create a slight contour. To complete the look I used Elegant Touch Kimmie Kyees Celebrity Nails in the most beauty sparkly green at £8.50 for a packet. As well as my new favourite thing to use this Halloween, Mesmereyez contact lenses in grey. These don’t necessary make my eyes look grey, but they make them look a lot bigger and more noticeable.
I had so much fun creating this look, it’s definitely one that you could go very minimal with, or get a little crazy like I did. The products were mostly supplied by Fragrance Direct and they’ve not got a huge sale on all of them!
