Falling in Love with Pixi Glow Tonic
I tried the Pixi Glow Tonic a few years back and I didn’t think I liked it. I’ve now realised that I had much better skin back then and that’s probably why I didn’t notice the difference like I have this time. My skin is quite problematic lately. With my chronic pain and chronic fatigue, I sleep A LOT. I don’t wash my pillow enough for how much I sleep on it. I don’t clean my face morning and night every single day anymore as I sleep odd hours and forget. It means that some days my skin is great, and then it all goes terrible for days or weeks.

The Pixi Glow Tonic arrived at the same time as a fresh pack of cotton pads which meant I have pretty much used it every single day, morning and night times for weeks now. I’ve even used midway through the day, before I apply makeup, or any other skincare and the difference in my skin has been unreal. I have been GLOWing. People have been commenting on my skin on Instagram and Instagram live videos and asking what I’ve been using. It’s such an amazing feeling as I don’t wear makeup a lot anymore, so I do love when my skin looks nice and glowing.
Pixi very kindly sent a personalised 500ml Pixi Glow Tonic bottle and I am already planning to buy a new one when this eventually runs out! My mum even wants one now too. A 250ml bottle is priced at £18. You definitely don’t need to use it as much as I have been doing, in the PM a few nights a week is enough.

Pixi also sent over the box beautiful locked box of skincare and liquid lipsticks! I actually gasped. The MatteLast Liquid Lips are alls super nude and beautiful day colours. They’re such a creamy formula, I love the applicator and they’re a fairly good price at £16 each. I haven’t got a photo of these on yet but as soon as I do I’ll post it on my Instagram.
I’ve had a Pixi eyeliner pencil and eye palette in the past and I adored them. I could create such an effortless smokey eye so I am really excited to now own more.

There’s so much from Pixi’s skincare range that I want to try, including Caroline Hirons Cleansing Balm. I’ve really enjoyed using the Rose Caviar Essence (£26) and Rose Flash Balm (£26). I love rose on my skin as I do tend to get quite a lot of redness and it helps to calm it down. I love using them together, the essence goes on first and you kind of just pat it onto your skin. After you add the Flash Balm that can be used as a moisturiser, primer, or mask. I like using this underneath my makeup.
