eufy Security Camera Wireless System

I’m always on the lookout for new tech and it’s safe to say that the eufy Security Camera Wireless System is probably the most impressive thing I’ve ever come across. We already have a 3 camera system that cost £200 but it didn’t work well or connect to my phone. So we spent another £100 on a better box so that I could view the footage remotely. If I want to look at a specific time, I had to scroll back through hours on hours. There are black wires around the house and the main box inside is unsightly. We really do not love our current system. I can’t believe I didn’t even think about wireless cameras beforehand!

eufy, eufy Security

The Eufy Security Camera System blows a standard system out of the water! This system comes with a home base and two cameras for £409.99. The cameras need charging once a year (that’s not a typo) and they’re perfectly safe to use both indoor and outdoor. We have one looking out at the entire drive, and the other on the entire back garden. I say entire because they cover 140 degrees, which is amazing coverage.

They detect motion and have settings so you can change how close or far away you want to be monitored. They only start to record once they detect motion and that’s how the battery lasts for so long. You can stream them live and even talk via the speaker on the cameras too. They have an alarm system you can ring if you need to alert to a problem or scare someone off. Overall, they just have it all!

The eufy camera night vision is incredible, you can see everything and even if you don’t have it on, the detection and visibility are still great. It’s 1080p resolution! It has 16GB memory included on a MicroSD card which covers about 10 detections a day. Obviously, you can delete and clear these out as and when you need them. Or add a bigger memory card. The Homebase was extremely easy to connect (even though Alfie did struggle) you simply just follow the instructions very carefully, and don’t touch the sync before it tells you to. I set it up in a matter of minutes.

Installing the eufy cameras were super easy too, first, you’ll want to check your angle and where you want to put the eufy Security camera. Next, decide if you want the magnetic mount or outdoor mount. You can use the magnetic one outside, but if you’re in an area where your cameras could be targeted, use the securer outdoor one. This means it’s screwed in rather than on a magnet. Of course, it’s weatherproof but if you need specifics then it can work perfectly in -20°C to 50°C. Although we haven’t got it set up, it does work with Amazon Alexa.

We will definitely be buying another eufy Security Camera for the side of the house, and in case you were wondering, one Eufy Homebase can have 16 cameras connected! Have you tried eufy before?
