Erborian Favourites FT Super BB Cream

As you can probably tell by the impressive (if I do say so myself) 10 new blog posts this month, I’m trying to finish up with absolutely everything I just have to tell you about before 2022 ends. I couldn’t possibly move into a new year without putting into words how much Erborian has completely and utterly impressed me!

Erborian Favourites

When I was first sent some of the Erborian CC Creams I thought they were really nice but not really something I would actually use often. Mostly because I’m super pale and the CC Cream (£40.00 for 45ml) and CC Water Skin (£40.00 for 40ml) Perfector went a little too warm on my skin. Plus I prefer fuller coverage bases. They were both really nice products though, the kind that starts off white and then changes colour so they were fun to use as well.

The Erborian CC Red Correct (£40.00 for 40ml) came along a few months later and completely impressed me! I’ve been wearing this on days where I just need a little help to calm the look of my redness down and it works so well. It’s a tad too warm again but not unwearable, especially when you add in other products. It’s such a beautiful formula and sits on my skin so wonderfully!

I much prefer it to the Dr.Jart+™ Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Colour Correcting too which I really tried to force myself to like earlier this year. It just ended up far too oily for me whereas the CC Red Correct doesn’t leave me oily at all and I can happily use it all over without it looking odd.

I love using the Erborian Glow Cream (£38.50 for 45ml), it’s such a dreamy base that really makes your skin glow and look beautiful! I can use this with my regular foundations and even use it on my mum too!

Obviously as the title suggests, the star of the Erborian show for me really is the Super BB – full coverage BB cream for acne-prone skin(£40 for 40ml) it’s absolutely brilliant! It’s an extremely lightweight formula that I can barely feel on my skin yet such full coverage and is completely flawless, beautiful, smooth, just utterly dreamy! Plus it has ingredients that are meant to help calm my spot-prone skin and make it look better overall. This BB cream has such impressive stats like how 86% of 104 testers had fewer breakouts after a month of use! I can totally believe that.

The only negative of the Super BB and all of the makeup products is that the shade range is very limited. I wear the lightest shade in Clair and it’s a touch too dark for me, if I had a lighter shade and more options to pick from so I could get a perfect match, I honestly would wear this foundation every single day. It’s beyond beautiful but I do have to do a bit of work to match the colour and add light to parts of my face.

Another thing I love about these Erborian products is that they come in 15ml sizes for travelling or just for trying out without committing to a full size. The 40ml BB cream has lasted me much longer than I thought it would as you really don’t need a lot to cover your entire face and get that amazing fuller coverage. I’d really recommend trying this out and if you find a really close match, I just know you’ll absolutely love it!

Have you tried anything from Erborian? I’m super excited to try more from them so let me know your favourites and what you think I should try next!
