Pour Moi Plus Size Lingerie Review
This year I’ve rediscovered Pour Moi and I’m so glad I have! I honestly did not think I would fit into this brand anymore but to my surprise and delight, they actually cater from 30-44 in A to J cups. Their sub-brands also cater for a wide range of sizes, Sirens by Pour Moi and Contradictions by Pour Moi. The sub-brands are for more styled pieces rather than everyday basics. Sirens by Pour Moi is elegant, lace, pretty embroidery and Contradiction By Pour Moi is for the boudoir sexy styles!
All four of the Pour Moi styles I’m wearing here are a size 44G and they were all a surprisingly good fit. If anything I found the band a little generous but because of my chronic pain condition, I do prefer it like that. Not so much that the band will move and cause more pain, but just so it isn’t digging into me too harshly. They all sat against my breast bone and there was no spillage at all. They’re all wired but non-padded and three of them have lace mesh panelling. I found the lace panelling to be the tiniest bit tight in but it’d soon change with wear.

My favourite was definitely the Sirens By Pour Moi Sofia Lace Embroidered Side Support Bra Ruby Red. I love a side support bra as that’s what works best for my boob shape and this one at £30 is such a great design and price. I love how much more cleavage I have in this one from all the side support pushing my breast tissue to the front. I was really impressed with the stretch in the matching knickers too, these are only a size 22 and usually, I’d be sizing up a few to get decent coverage for photos.

The Imogen Rose Embroidered Full Cup Bra Mink/Pink flattened the tops of my breasts a little too much, but as I said with time I imagine this to change or if you have a different boob shape this might not bother you. It definitely wasn’t enough to need to size up but perhaps half a cup size would have helped. At just £26 it’s a great price for the quality.

Next up, I tried was the Amour Full Cup Bra Grey Graphite/Pink and it’s a beauty! I’m not really into having mesh panelling and I like to be covered (mostly because it’s a pain to edit nipples out for photos) so I loved how pretty yet comfortable this design was. It didn’t give me a great cleavage like Sirens by Pour Moi, instead, it was just an all-round cosy fit! I don’t often leave my bra on for long with my chronic pain, but this one really didn’t bother me much at all. It is definitely the more comfortable one of the four! The only pants that didn’t fit were the Amour Full Cup knickers, but that’s to be expected with full lace.

Lastly, I got to try Suspense from the Contradiction by Pour Moi range and it’s a beauty. This is a double strapped bra that literally allows you to control the amount of bust you want, so you could put it tighter for a fuller look, or leave it looser and just enjoy the decoration it gives too. I actually found this one a tad on the big size in the cups, which is great because I am their biggest size so if you have a slightly bigger bust than me, you might still fit!
I was really impressed with Pour Moi, they have such a great selection and size range, and I look forward to trying more in the future. I’d love to see more padded styles as that’s personally my favourites, and an increase in sizes for the Contradiction by Pour Moir range as I’m loving boudoir styled lingerie lately. You probably already know that from my Instagram.
