Last Minute Father’s Day Gift Guide

Whenever it comes to Mother’s Day I start shopping months or weeks in advance and have deliveries coming right up until the day before. Father’s Day? I start and finish that same month. Maybe it’s because my mum hints, sends links, and is a lot needier than my dad, or maybe it’s just because my dad has simple tastes. Here’s a last minute father’s day gift guide for all of you who are still to get the father figures in your life something! Everything in this guide you can order from multiple places or pick up really easily.

My dad is obsessed with having new earphones and something to play music on for when we go on holiday. After the holiday he tends to forget about them but that means that they end up in mine and Alfie’s room! This is the Soundcore Icon mini by Anker (£31.99) and it’s super impressive. A waterproof Bluetooth speaker with 8 hours of play time! I love how bright it is and everything sounds amazing on it! It comes in black too and it’s on Amazon Prime making it super easy to order and get in time.

For quiet times or when he wants to relax alone, these Soundcore Truly-Wireless EarbudsSoundcore Truly-Wireless Earbuds are perfect. Wireless earphones mean no dangling wires or worrying about getting them tangled. At £59.99 these are seriously good quality, completely waterproof and have 12 hours of play. This charging case is really fancy and lights up for how high the battery is. It also protects them and makes them easy to find.

As my dad’s a plumber, I always love to buy practical gifts and there’s nothing handier than a seriously powerful torch. This is the Coast Polysteel 200 LED Torch 320 Lumens (£24.95) and although it’s the smallest size of their collection, it packs a real punch! Or in this case, light. It’s completely waterproof, crushproof, and drop proof. Perfect for my dad! I always think it’s best to buy products that have a really good warranty on them and this one is 5 years, so you know it’s built to last.

Designer sunglasses are always a good option for a Father’s Day Present. Not only are they something special but they are extremely practical too. Whether your dad goes on holiday a lot or even if he just drives a lot, sunglasses should be worn most days to protect your eyes fully. These Persol designer sunglasses caught my dad’s eyes straight away and he loved wearing them on holiday! They come in a stylish black leather case and the shiny blue glass looks really fun against summer clothes too!

I’ve truly never seen my dad as impressed as seeing a coffee mug with a biscuit holder. Blew his mind! This Half Moon Bay Nasa Large Biscuit Mug (£12.95)and Space Collective NASA Vector Bamboo Socks (£8.00) make super practical and affordable gifts that most days would love! The socks are fancier than they look, made with 100% bamboo which means they have anti-bacterial properties and are moisture wicking!

Staying on the theme of glassware and mugs, I just couldn’t resist these Geo Glass Black 2 Pack (£24.00)! They are so stylish and unusual, my dad loved them right away and I can see us buying more in the future. Root 7 is a fantastic site for stylish and different glassware, we were spoilt for choice but we always love these size glasses in alcohol gift sets at Christmas, so it made sense to get some for everyday use.

Onto the beauty and grooming products! Something my dad has really gotten into the last couple of years is using hand cream. He has one on his van and in the plumbing merchants, he visits every morning. He’s even got a couple of other plumbers and staff using them too! I always go for anything that says something about ‘hard-working’ hands as my dad doesn’t just need pretty smelling hand cream, he needs something that will work on a tough skin. It’s really important for the cream to be non-greasy as he doesn’t want to be slipping whilst using tools or working. The Seams Hand Cream at £14 stood out to us as it ticks all the boxes.

Not all dads have short hair, some have long locks that need some extra care and you can’t get better than Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (£33)! I personally use this and it’s one of the best hair care products out there for looking after your hair and making it the best it can be. It’s super easy to use, no fuss at all and a perfect gift.

If you know your dad is into his grooming products or perhaps want to introduce him to some, then look no further then men-ü. Alfie uses this brand and they really are so great! What I love about their gift sets is that there are travel versions and then full-size versions too. These products are really impressive and one full-size bottle can do 165 applications. The facial wash can do 265! My dad loves shaving brushes and having a clean shave so these are really so perfect!
Below is the Black Pepper & Bergamot Shower GelShave Facial Essentials £29.95 (worth £42.95), and the men-ü Shave Facial Trio £29.95 (worth £38.85).

You can’t get him products to shave with without a new razor! My dad is always asking for new reasons because honestly, my family steal them from him. Men’s razors are so much better than women’s and my brother always seems to misplace his. Poor dad! This year he has 3 new razors to try and keep to himself. Including 2 from Wilkinson Sword. My dad has tried the Wilkinson Sword Hydro 3 before and he really enjoys it, but the Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Sense Energize is new out and has a really great shock absorber function. This is particularly good for those close shaves.

From Gillette my dad picked out a more sensitive option with their new Skinguard Sensitive range. Any face can feel a little sensitive from time to time, so it’s always good to have something that will cater to that. The Sensitive Skin Shave Foam contains aloe to sooth the skin and helps the blade guide, combined with the skin guard on the actual Gillette Skin Guard Sensitive Razor to stop any tugging of hairs and this is the perfect duo!

I had no idea that Victoria Plum had a gift section on their website but it’s such a fantastic idea. My dad uses overnight bags a lot for going away or to the gym, so I thought this Baylis & Harding men’s black pepper & ginseng weekend bag (£29.99) would be perfect for him. I wasn’t expecting the bag to be of such high quality or so stylish but he loves it! This contains everything you need to go away including shampoo, body wash, lotion, and aftershave balm! It’s a great price for such a lovely gift.

It’s time for the Good Night Anti-Snoring Ring (£35.00.) I was beyond confused when I read ‘anti-snoring ring’? What on earth does that do? Well, it works by putting light pressure on 2 acupressure points on little fingers that help with snoring! How utterly genius is this? I honestly thought it was for his nose. If you’re a heavy snorer then you can try one for both hands, different hands work better if you’re male or female too. It comes across as expensive at £35, but to stop men snoring? 110% worth it. I’ll let you know how he gets on with this!

Food and drink are always a good idea for last minute father’s day gifts, you just can’t go wrong with their favourite snacks, no matter how big or small they are. A bag of Jelly Belly SUPER HERO BATMAN™? Perfect! There are also some amazing hampers you can pick up.

This Bucket of Beer hamper complete with the perfect beer snacks really impressed my dad. He loves snacking of a night time so these were really perfect for him. The gifts at Getting Personal are always a good shout, and you can make anything extra special by having that option of personalising things and adding a gift message.

Finally, chocolate hamper! Although my dad loves chocolate, he does really enjoy wine gums and gummy sweets in general too so I thought this hamper at £27.50 was the perfect one for him. There’s plenty to share and go around, or for your dad to have a huge stash for a while! Chocolate hampers are definitely on my list now for future presents. The Cadbury Gifts Direct website has too much to choose from!
