4 Tried & Tested Makeup Brands

Here are four makeup brands that I’ve been putting to the test over the last few months, including Wonderland Makeup and a discount code for them.

Em-Belle-ish

To say I’m obsessed with buying new makeup brushes is an understatement. I’ve recently had to find a new pot out to store them in, because I just can’t stop buying more. I’ve been trying out this new brand, Em-Belle-ish and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed! This set of 11 brushes is only £30 and I’ve definitely found some brushes that I can’t do without. The quality is great, there’s a brush for every single part of your makeup, and then more! You can definitely create a full face with just these brushes.

Wonderland Makeup

I hadn’t heard of Wonderland Makeup before but I loved how cute the website and products look. I tried out two powder foundations which were definitely pale enough for me, but it wasn’t enough coverage for what I like. If you want a more natural look then you should definitely give these a try. TheWonderland Makeup primer reminds me of the texture of Porefessional, Smashbox, and most oil control primers like this, meaning it’s a great buy!
The Wonderland Makeup mascara is really great for those hard to get bottom lashes, although I’ve found that the mascara runs on me, it really does depend on the person. I still love using it to separate my lashes and then I coat them with something that won’t run. I really love the glitter pigment pot and although red isn’t a colour I would usually use on my eyes, I can definitely see me working this into a Halloween look.

Ciate London

I was quite surprised to randomly get a parcel from Ciate London but I was seriously happy when I saw it was their famous Glitter Flip lipsticks! These are so awesome. They create a glitter lip in minutes by simply applying the liquid lipstick, letting it dry, and then you press your lips together. It’s like magic! Although these colours aren’t for me, they work exactly as described and I highly recommend trying them!

Chloe Lewis Beauty

One product I’ve been obsessed with is this Moon Beach Highlighter from Chloe Lewis Beauty at £22.99. It’s beyond stunning and I cannot believe that I haven’t tried a liquid highlighter before, well one that didn’t cost a couple of pound! This is seriously impressive and the glow is out of this world. I actually tried that trick where you cover your entire face before foundation and my skin looks amazing. I was glowing from within. This is definitely the best shade for super pale people like me and I can’t stop using it!

I’ve also been trying out Reeva Red and Lady Love lipsticks at £12.99 each. The packaging is great for these and they’re really conditioning and creamy.
