4 Luxury Skincare Products
Most of the time when I’m reviewing skincare, I don’t actually know the price of the product. I could easily find out or look it up, but then I feel like you have certain expectations. Whenever I ask my mum to try things out for me, I don’t tell her how much things are either, it’s only when we come to writing them up that we look and then we are either impressed, or seriously disappointed. Does a higher price always mean luxury skincare? Or can a budget product feel like a luxury product? Thankfully today, these are 4 luxury skincare products that are really beautiful.
Spa Technologies Vitamin C Serum – £35

A couple weeks back I bought a vitamin C toner spray and I’m completely obsessed with it. I’ve so wanted more Vitamin C products in my life and jumped at the chance to try this serum out. It’s a fantastic ingredient for helping the signs of ageing and protecting the skin, but everyone already knows that by now. This Spa Technologies UK Vitamin C Serum is definitely a luxury skincare product.
You can use it morning and night, all year round to protect your skin and give it that real glow. It contains two forms of Vitamin C, one which locks in moisture, and the other than has the more healing effect. Together they make your skin feel incredible and you notice a real difference in appearance after a few uses. My mum loved this from the first use! It also contains shea butter to hydrate and moisturise. It’s available from Vegan Beauty Skincare.
Esse Protect Oil – £49

This is real luxury skincare. This Esse Protect Oil contains Ximenia oil which protects skin from environment stresses. It works by creating a layer on the skin that helps fight against UV rays and pollution. It feels absolutely amazing on and I love knowing that it’s actively protecting my skin. You apply up to 10 drops all over your face and neck and then follow with a moisturiser.
Gatineau
Gatineau Perfection Ultime™ Radiance Energizing Eye Concentrate – £55
This is a brand new eye cream that came out in August 2018 and it is amazing! We are so obsessed with this super cooling eye cream that not only cools the area, but it calms down puffiness too. It’s super lightweight yet very hydrating and leaves you feeling instantly perkier and brighter. It contains Yeast Extract to fight puffiness, Sweet Almond Oil to moisturise, and Horse Chestnut Seed Extract to smooth lines and helps to encourage a circulation boost too. This is my mum’s new obsession.
AquaMemory™ High Hydration Cream Mask – £40
I’ve tried and loved a few masks from Gatineau now but I hadn’t tried anything hydrating yet. Although I do have oily skin and prefer something to tackle that, I love having an super creamy and moisturising mask from time to time and this is just that. Described as a ‘salon-grade formula’ with Osmaporine™ that relieves skin in minutes. It has hyaluronic acid and anti-oxidants to maximise hydration, leaving your skin feeling noticeably more moisturised.
