Your Tea TeaFace Exfoliator – Skincare with a Difference!

I was a little skeptical over using actual tea in my skincare, but I feel that it is my duty (well, that’s how I persuade myself) to try these weird things and tell you all if you should too, or run for the hills instead. Your TeaTeaFace at £17.95 is definitely a different experience. It has been designed and formulated to gently revitalise, exfoliate, moisturise, heal scars and even help uneven skin tones to leave you with a healthier looking complexion that glows.

The TinyTea granules are mixed with essential oils from all over the Globe, which each play their part and help enhance the product as a whole. It’s pretty easy to use as you simply need to cleanse your skin to ensure it is makeup and oil free before taking a teaspoon full and lathering it onto your face gently in circular motions. After you’ve exfoliated, you can leave TeaFace to sink in for any time up to an hour before washing off and moisturising. It’s even gentle enough for sensitive skin, so you needn’t worry about any harshness.

Obviously with products like this, you can use it pretty much everywhere and a little really does go a long way with, but as you can imagine it’s not the neatest product. In fact, I’ve never used anything quite so messy and it’s definitely not a product that you can just quickly use at the sink. This requires a full on lock down shower where you clean up immediately, before everything you have ever loved becomes covered. It’s a little difficult to ensure you’ve fully washed it off everywhere too, but you soon get used to it and learn to be a lot more thorough.

As you can imagine, TeaFace is not tested on animals and it is rather fresh, meaning that once you open it, it must be kept in the fridge, where it’ll stay fresh for up to 1 year. Although the messiness of the product was a little off putting, and I found it difficult to leave on my skin for more than a couple minutes, it has made my skin feel ridiculously soft and look amazing. I straight away started using it all over where a small layer of oil was left on my skin, meaning that I didn’t need to use a moisturiser. A big thumbs up from me, as I’m rather lazy. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who is a fan of tea and doesn’t mind a messy shower!

  • I love that it’s last for a upto a year.
And I know it’s not about the packaging, but the little jar it comes in is so cute!
I might give it a whirl myself

  • Now this is tempting, I have scars, fairly fresh ones, that I really want rid of!

  • I would love something to fade my scars on my face, they drive me around the bend. Heard a lot of good things with products that have tea in so I bet this makes your skin amazing the next day. Does look slightly like soil though haha xx

I’ve never heard of anything like before, sound so interesting. I love tea but am not too good with messiness either so might have to give it a miss! x

Does the packaging tell you what kind of tea they’ve used to make the product? I know calendula herbs are really brilliant for skin.

Sounds like a great product although like you said the messiness is really off putting. I hate messes. I’ll think about this product.

Ooh I bet this smells so good. Tea has so many health benefits so I’m not surprised that this makes your skin feel good. Shame it’s so easy though. Sometimes (not often enough) I put used teabags over my eyes with a face mask on as they refresh my eyes and reduce the bags.

  • This sounds really interesting! Where did you hear about it? I love anything that leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised so may have to try it, is it super oily though?
