Turn Your Summer Wardrobe into a Winter Wardrobe with Wingz!

It suddenly dawned on me that it was soon going to be a hell of a lot colder. Even though this Summer I’ve been the most confident with myself to have my bare legs out, bare arms and wear whatever I want, soon, that wouldn’t matter. anymore. I would have to cover up, not because I want to but because, Winter is coming…… OK, I’ll stop being dramatic now. So basically I was sat there one night wondering how on earth I was meant to afford an Autumn wardrobe, let alone a Winter one. It was in that moment that I suddenly saw Wingz on my Twitter timeline and realised, I don’t have to re-buy a whole new wardrobe, I can simply just add a couple very clever Wingz to it instead and just like that, I was ready.

Wingz is a fantastic name for the company and it does make me laugh, as it is quite literally wings, well arms but you know what I mean. Wingz add arms onto your dresses and tops that don’t already have them. This way you can wear your favourite dresses without becoming too chilly, or too hot in big cardigans. I personally love having fitted 3/4 sleeves on dresses as they’re always such a comfortable fit as it means I don’t have to worry about extra cardigans, shrugs and more added layers.

I was accidentally sent the wrong pair of wings, which are a full length black pair and clearly in a size too small. However, this is probably the best thing that could have happened as now I fully understand how Wingz work and how to get them to look flawless. They are arms attached by fabric that is meant to sit at the band of your bra and then underneath your bust comfortably and without riding up. In order for them to do this, they do have to be in your actual size and they are, thankfully, very true to size. If you do size down, you’ll just end up with material around the back of your neck and a seriously confused look on your face like I did.Turn Your Summer Wardrobe into a Winter Wardrobe with Wingz!

Although, I can still wear them just by tucking the back piece of fabric into my bra, it is a lot easier with the Lace 3/4 sleeve bar which I asked for in a 18-22 as I normally fit a size 20. They fit perfectly, I can move around as easy as if I wasn’t wearing them and they’re so comfortable. At just £18.99 a pair, you really do get what you pay for. The quality is amazing and the possibility of outfits? Endless. I’m definitely going to be picking up several more pairs of Wingz in different styles and definitely in white too!

Oh this is a brilliant idea! It will mean that the Summer wardrobe gets a little more wear too which is always a plus in my book!

This idea seems so straight-forward but amazing haha! I love that it doesn’t look at all obvious either.
