Being plus size and having chunky legs has meant that I have struggled with chaffing for quite some years now and I did get to the point where I would just expect it and that it was just normal if I had my bare legs out. For those of you who don’t know, chaffing occurs with your legs rub together causing friction. It’s not pretty and in some cases, it can get very sore and become uncomfortable to walk. That is unless you find a way to stop it. There’s all sorts of creams on the market that people say help, but in my experience, I don’t find any products actually help, but clothes do.
In the past I have taken to cutting down old leggings and wearing them to stop chaffing and it works rather amazingly. The only problems are the sheer thickness and heat factor of still having to wear leggings on a hot day. Thankfully, Chaffree know the struggle and have developed some incredibly thin short like pants to prevent chaffing. They come in all different shapes and sizes, but if you’re wanting to prevent chaffing, I would definitely recommend the Knickerboxes.
Chaffree pants are made from performance fabric that pulls moisture away from the skin keeping you dry and comfortable all day long. They’re also seamless, lightweight and label-less and even stretch with you to allow weight loss/gain too, which is rather handy. Catering for everyone from sizes 8-30 (28″-50″) and Mens 28″-50″ in an array of colours and designs. I honestly can’t rave about them enough.
Chaffree kindly sent Alfie a couple pairs as well and he’s absolutely made up with them. Sure the pink is a ghastly and unattractive colour, but they’re so comfortable that he doesn’t care at all. Chaffree even have free postage to the UK and the more you buy, the more you save! I definitely want a few more pairs for Rome but £19 for one pair or a back of 5 black ones for £86, I was a little put off myself. I know for a fact they’ll last and make my holiday so much easier, so I really need to take the plunge. I did decide to try out some from Ebay that looked similar, but they really don’t compare at all. If chaffing is a real problem for you, then Chaffree is your new best friend and definitely worth the investment.
