Is it sad to be excited over reviewing an IPL Hair Removal Machine? Even if it is I really don’t mind as I’ve honestly wanted to try laser hair removal for absolutely YEARS now. As I don’t drive and I can’t do public transport thanks to chronic pain, it means that having weekly treatments at a salon would be incredibly costly with the treatment and added transport on top of that. I don’t even want to think how much it would have ended up costing me, which is why I’ve been thinking about a machine that I can use at home for years. But as you probably know, they’re incredibly expensive machines. So over the next few months, I’m going to be giving myself weekly treatments with the Panasonic ES-WH90, even my mum will be trying it out and probably Alfie too (as he hates being left out!) and we’ll…

I’ve said it time and time again but it’s just the truth, The Good Spa Guide are by far one of my favourite brands to work with. The boxes of spa goodies they send every couple of months is simply unbeatable and I always end up finding my latest beauty addiction. This time I’ve been using quite a few things on a day to day basis and by the looks of how fast some of them have gone down, so have other people in my house! In this latest selection, which you can see me unbox on Twitter, there’s the…. Temple Spa Body Truffle 150ml£60 What if you could combine hydration with glamour? That’s exactly what this body lotion does, with rose quartz, cashmere and truffles it oozes luxury whilst leaving your skin looking gleaming and flawless, quite literally. It appears to have gold lustre inside which helps to even…

The Body Shop Advent Calendar is now live and as part of it I have been sent two different skincare sets to try out and tell you all about them! Whilst talking to The Body Shop at a recent Sheffield Bloggers Events I mentioned that two sets had arrived that morning and one of the women was so excited to tell me about the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask as you can no longer buy it on its own, just in sets and it’s an amazing mask that I needed to try out. Obviously after hearing how excited the woman was about it, I just couldn’t wait to try it myself and put it on that night when we got home. Immediately I knew that the Himalayan Charcoal mask would be my new favourite and indeed it has become just that. The Finest Facial Mask Duo at £25.00 is the perfect set to try out two…

This is another one of those posts where GG just isn’t impressed. By now I’m meant to have glorious, unblemished skin, but that just isn’t the case. Although I loved the Frezyderm sunscreen (read the post here) and primer, their acne face wash and moisturiser really didn’t do anything for me at all. Similarly a ‘ph balanced’ range called Sebamed didn’t really scare my spots off either. The treatment toner was fantastic at keeping my oily skin slightly more in control (as I am seriously oily) but the rest of the range did nothing. Obviously you all know by now that just because something didn’t work for me, it doesn’t mean it won’t work for you, it just means I’ll have some suggestions on better products to start with. I’ve been trying these products out over the course of a couple months so I’ve really been able to see what’s…
