My favourite place to eat in Sheffield, Tapas Revolution in Meadowhall, has a new menu with new Chef Specials and last week I got to try them out. I’m already a huge fan of the Tapas Revolution branch as you can probably tell. I reviewed the launch night, the restaurant when it opened and since I’ve been back several times with different people, turning them into fans too! It’s the best Spanish restaurant I’ve been to outside of Spain. Everything is so authentic and well thought out, from the plates being on the table ready in a proper ‘tapas’ style, to the most delicious Spanish wines, even the Spanish speaking staff. I was invited along to try out the new Specials and they seriously are special. I took along my dear friend Keisha, who I don’t think has had a blog outing before so it was very exciting. She made…

I love a funny campaign and this is honestly one of my favourites! I’m such a cat person but this did seriously make me cackle. OK – so what am I going on about? Hendrick’s Gin are celebrating World Cucumber Day on the 14th June. After all the craziness of cats being petrified of cucumbers, Hendricks has decided that they’re going to be the ones to save the World and restore peace between cats and cucumbers. Please watch this hilarious video to understand more. It turns out that a whopping amount of cats have a massive fear of cucumbers, over a third to be exact. Hendricks have got world renowned animal behaviourist, Dr Roger Mugford, to come up with a cucumber exposure programme that will help your feline companions to deal with this struggle. The tips can be found on the above card. “The cucumber is at the core of our gin,…

So this week I have been playing with the brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, sent to me by Three UK. I didn’t receive any compensation for this post so this will include the good parts and the bad parts of the phone. Obviously being a blogger, I’ve gave it the blogger trials on a phone which include… Photo quality Video quality Battery life Ease of usage Speed of the phone More technical bloggers might have different needs and wants but I’m pretty simple, I need pretty photos, good quality videos, a phone that will survive billions of notifications and one that won’t crash on me. I also want to not have to pinch Alfie’s photo every time I need a decent picture taking! So, technical parts. What does the phone’s features include? 5.5″ dual curved screen with dust and water resistant Gorilla glass. Dual pixel 12MP rear camera. 5MP front…

We had one of the most enjoyable experiences on our latest trip to Chiquito and that was definitely because of our waiter, John, and of course the fabulous food. Despite going over the Bank Holiday weekend it was surprisingly quiet and our waiter John was beyond attentive. Whenever we ordered he would suggest his own favourites, which turned out to be the better choices actually, and when we didn’t realise the lunch menu was half the size he insisted on letting us look as the ‘good stuff’ was on that side, including his top three, Enchiladas, Burritos and the Flatbreads. I’m going to talk about the waiter a lot because he honestly may as well have sat down with us as he was just so beyond friendly, funny and he really made our meal there one of the best dining experiences that we’ve had out as a family. Of course…

Tapas Revolution is coming to Sheffield Meadowhall, tomorrow! Yes, that’s right, tomorrow! The handsome Spanish TV chef Omar Allibhoy is opening up his fifth branch right here in Sheffield and after trying out the menu and his incredible cooking at a VIP event a couple weeks ago, you’ll definitely be seeing me there. I’ve tried many Spanish tapas bars around the UK and although some have been good, none have been as authentic as this. Omar has been called the  ‘Antonio Banderas of cooking’ by Gordon Ramsay and has cooked for a whole host of celebrities diners, including Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, Antonio Banderas, Tom Hanks and Bill Nighy. He knows his tapas! Tapas Revolution Meadowhall is going to be something that Meadowhall desperately needs after the closing of it’s only Spanish tapas bar last year, and I am so excited to see what the branch will look like. Everything is freshly…
