So this week I have been playing with the brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, sent to me by Three UK. I didn’t receive any compensation for this post so this will include the good parts and the bad parts of the phone. Obviously being a blogger, I’ve gave it the blogger trials on a phone which include… Photo quality Video quality Battery life Ease of usage Speed of the phone More technical bloggers might have different needs and wants but I’m pretty simple, I need pretty photos, good quality videos, a phone that will survive billions of notifications and one that won’t crash on me. I also want to not have to pinch Alfie’s photo every time I need a decent picture taking! So, technical parts. What does the phone’s features include? 5.5″ dual curved screen with dust and water resistant Gorilla glass. Dual pixel 12MP rear camera. 5MP front…

I mention my chronic back pain a lot on my blog, it’s kinda hard not to when you’re in constant pain every second of the day, but I only ever mention it in passing. A couple weeks ago I was invited to #HoldEm4Charity, a casino event by Ladbrokes and Search Laboratory where the winner would be able to choose a charity to give the £500 winnings to. My family and I love the casino, we’re not big on betting and we normally only take what we wouldn’t miss (usually £20 haha!) but we love the atmosphere of the casino and being able to dress up. I was SO excited when I got the email and immediately put it in my diary. I contacted a company who I knew would have the perfect dress and arranged to loan one for the event. The day before the event I even spend HOURS…

We had a super busy week a couple of weeks ago which unfortunately with chronic pains means I only just feel like I’ve recovered. Seriously not fun BUT the week was definitely worth it. We headed off to York for 4 days which you can read about HERE and then came back for a day to unpack and repack for a night in London. Sometimes I feel like I’m going to London every other day and other times I don’t get to go down for weeks, maybe a month at a time so I have to fit as much in as possible. Which obviously always includes making time for one of my favourites, Hayley. We planned to spend the entire Friday together whilst Alfie was at a Beer Festival but a quiet day in London wasn’t exactly what we got…. Instead, Hayley, Alfie and I ended up having a slightly…

Tapas Revolution is coming to Sheffield Meadowhall, tomorrow! Yes, that’s right, tomorrow! The handsome Spanish TV chef Omar Allibhoy is opening up his fifth branch right here in Sheffield and after trying out the menu and his incredible cooking at a VIP event a couple weeks ago, you’ll definitely be seeing me there. I’ve tried many Spanish tapas bars around the UK and although some have been good, none have been as authentic as this. Omar has been called the  ‘Antonio Banderas of cooking’ by Gordon Ramsay and has cooked for a whole host of celebrities diners, including Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, Antonio Banderas, Tom Hanks and Bill Nighy. He knows his tapas! Tapas Revolution Meadowhall is going to be something that Meadowhall desperately needs after the closing of it’s only Spanish tapas bar last year, and I am so excited to see what the branch will look like. Everything is freshly…

I remember last year when I was beyond jealous at all of these fancy events that I had to keep saying no to, due to have a part time job and unpredictable hours. Now I’m my own boss, I’m awesome at giving myself days off to swan around the country at various events and I wanted to share some of my favourite events in the last couple weeks/months. There’s been so many events close together lately and the first one of this massive influx was St Ledger’s Ladies Day at Doncaster Races. After previously attending the year before, Mum and I were so happy to be invited for the second year in a row and this time, we’d be even more prepared. Armed with comfortable shoes, better dresses and more of taste for alcohol, we set out to have an amazing day and we definitely achieved it. We were…
