After pretty much planning my outfits for Plus North months and months ahead of time, before finally taking the plunge and spending way too much, all that was left was to find the perfect accessories to compliment my outfits. I already had my first couple outfits sorted, including one for the Simply Be catwalk (that you can read here), but the biggest two day event of the year plus more plans around them meant that I obviously needed a lot more glitz and glamour.
That’s where Punkypins came to the rescue with their quirky yet absolutely beautiful jewellery. I was kitted out with just about everything I’d need to mix and match until my heart was content and my outfits where spot on with perfection. But before the fun at Plus North started, Ryan and I headed to The Alchemist where I wore the beautiful Alice Cameo Necklace (£11) necklace, Alice Red Glitter Heart Stud Earrings (£4) and Black Scrabble Ring, (£6). Ryan thought that my necklace looked a little sad, but I don’t think he quite understood the beauty of a Alice in Wonderland themed necklace. It has easily become my favourite piece to wear and I’ve had several people asking where it’s from. There’s no wonder really with how eye-catching it is.
Seen as I was rushing around between modelling and just generally excited over people being at Plus North, it meant that my main outfit of my gorgeous Newlook Dress and Boohoo Cardigan, went without a single picture. However, the Daisy Chain Flower Necklace at £12 and matching Daisy Flower Dangly Earrings at £6 really finished off my outfit and made me feel rather Summery. Definitely a key piece for a Summer’s day outfit, that no doubt we’ll be seeing again thanks to the utter mess English Weather is.
For the second Plus North event I decided to dress up my new Yours Clothing outfit with these key pieces. I have ALWAYS wanted a necklace with my name on it. When I say always, I’m not joking, I’ve literally asked for years but there’s always been some sort of issue with it not going to be done in time, or my mum not liking the idea. But seen as I’m a ‘big girl now’, I asked for my name on a necklace and I absolutely love it. At only £12 the Chunky Script Name Necklace is definitely my second favourite piece. I’d love one with ‘She Might Be Loved’ on but I think that might be a little long….you never know though. I also paired it with my Black Scrabble Ring, because I clearly have an issue with wanting people to know my name and some Mini Cross Stuf Earrings at £4. I love little statement earrings like these as I always feel better about myself with earrings in. It’s weird, I know.
Overall, these pieces really complimented my outfits and they’ve become pieces that I don’t want to put down! Punkypins is one of my favourite places to go for accessories and I’m really looking forward to seeing any quirky little Christmas things that come out.
