You’d think that after a complete week of just about everything to do with Plus North, there wouldn’t be much more to say. However, Plus North 2014 was the biggest event I’ve attended so far and I’ll always remember it for so many different reasons. The organisers Toni, Gemma, Emma and Kim did an amazing job. There were so many different brands and variety that could please just about anyone, and then their guests. Everything was well organised and thought out. It was held at Baracoa Luxe Bar in Leeds, and sure the venue wasn’t amazing for reasons I won’t go into, but it really didn’t matter as there was too much going on to ever notice. It was amazing to catch up with old friends and make new ones too, as well as make so many memories.
The Saturday event was packed full of Catwalk, where I was lucky enough to model for Yours Clothing and Simply Be! There were also stalls from all the big brands and beauty names, including Yours Clothing, Topsy Curvy, Evans, Simply Be, Curvy Kate, Elvi, Curvissa, So Fabulous, Ann Harvey, Betty Pamper, Chunky Cat Cuddler, Cohorted, Arbonne, Zizzi, Slink Magazine, Apple & Pears, Wingz and finally, Bon Prix! There was also a representative from Mary Kay makeup, Jim Hawkins’ beautiful photography and Sweet Pizzas which is the most brilliant invention I have ever seen.
Meeting the lovely founder and amazing Social Media team behind Cohorted.
Finally meeting Anne from Mookie’s Life!

The night event at Plus North was very relaxed and chilled out, there was a quiz and a catwalk which I unfortunately missed, but the photos look amazing. After the night event we headed off with the beautiful girls from Bras & Honey and Faith from Music and Eyeliner (briefly anyway) to see what Leeds nightlife had to offer. It turned out there was a lot. We ended up in quite a few places….

After hearing how obsessed with Drag Queen I am, Donna from Bras & Honey ran over to ask if I could have a picture. It absolute made my weekend even better.

Travelodge Pizza and chips and out of this world.
Lastly, the final day of Plus North consisted of a very busy clothes swap to start with. I took in clothes that I have been staring at for months and managed to grab some really beautiful pieces. There was also a quick catwalk show from MSSVG which I modelled for. Yours Clothing held a workshop with influential bloggers, as well as a SEO workshop that I attended with Debz from Wannabe Princess, everyone knows how obsessed I am with SEO so I really enjoyed this. Overall, Plus North was incredible and I already cannot wait for next year.
