Following on from my little Pink Clove collection, this is probably my favourite dressier outfit as it’s so easy to throw and to maintain my obsession of lace. I’ve worn this Pink Clove Lucia All Over Lace Dress at £24 on numerous occasions and I’ve always been so comfortable and have been complimented on how it looks! On the website, this dress did look like it would actually be a skater dress which I was rather excited about, but it turns out it’s slightly more of a bodycon, and I wasn’t really expecting that.
I knew the dress would be high up but as soon as I put it on, I immediately grabbed a couple pins and turned it into a sweetheart style. Unfortunately from the angle, you cannot see just how amazing it makes my bust normally look, but I can assure you, it’s my favourite for showing off my assets in a classy sort of way. I have this in a 20 and it fits perfectly everywhere, the arms are stretchy yet manage to not pull and lose their colour or make my arms look bigger. The waist is quite long and therefore I do have to pull it up and belt it, ideally a tighter belt would be better for this.
The dress itself isn’t the longest and on my 5’3 self the dress is slightly too short. I usually wear this with my leggings, as it’s a little too short for my liking to go without. The dress is a great for not clinging to you and skimming over the tummy area, which is where I often end up disliking bodycon dresses for that reason. I’m forever slightly customising dresses and now I have this one set up to my favourite bra (which I wasn’t wearing for the photos as I’m silly like that). The sleeves are 3/4 and I have pulled them up a little bit, but they can be pulled down a tad more.
I’m pleased to say that despite it being a tad too high and a tad too short, the quality of this dress is absolutely amazing and has washed incredibly. It also doesn’t need ironing, see what I mean by easy? My Mum loves dresses like this, as they don’t need anything! Be sure to check out my previous Pink Clove reviews on their Rose Berry dress
