I posted a photo on Instagram last night of my hair after a 6 hour shift, and moping around for a total of 10 hours, yes my hair stayed in for 10 hours. I was so impressed that I decided I will start my YouTube back up and show you all how to do it! I’ve previously used my YouTube channel when I had a very popular blog on Tumblr so I have had to change my name (I didn’t think being called ‘cuntadoodledo’ was a good look for a beauty blog). So this is my first serious beauty vlog. Do let me know if this is something I should continue you, or if I should stick to writing, be brutally honest as it does…

When I first heard back from Benefit it was the night before I was going out with work and Keisha, I could either pay £5-£10 for a pair of lashes that I would most likely drunkenly throw anywhere in my house when I got back, or I could spend £19.50 on Benefit’s They’re Real mascara, which came with a free mini version. This would also mean that I turned up to the interview with something of theirs on, which looked far better than saying ‘I’ve got a 5 year old badgal eyeliner which I never use’. To find out if a mascara is good enough for my standards I have several tests, 1) Does it look good as a single layer? Yes, picture 4 shows…

Just to make sure you’re aware before reading, I’m not sure if this is how it works at every single Benefit Cosmetics interview, but this is what happened when I applied to work for them. So, it’s What to Expect from a Benefit Cosmetics Interview. SPOILER ALERT, I didn’t get the job in the end, but you will soon find out that I’m perfectly happy with that. I am not wanting to slate the company, they are very popular and seem to have great staff, it just definitely wasn’t for me and I’m not a huge fan of the products anyway. So, this is a little guide to the interview process/heads up for anyone thinking of applying, or that already have. Step 1: The online application It’s…

As some of you know I had an interview at Benefit, this included an absolute panic over what to wear. I was told to come all in black, which is easy enough as that’s my uniform anyway. However I wanted something that I would feel comfortable yet very smart in as it wasn’t specified how formal to be. The night before my interview I decided that I had NOTHING to prepared, my hair was discoloured and my nails looked ridiculously short. Therefore a trip to Asda was involved, there I bought some new shoes (that have cut my feet open but they looked OK), hair dye (hasn’t really done much), some nails and nail varnish (actually pleased with this), and finally some jewelry (which I…

When I saw a red peplum dress for £12.99 on Newlook my immediate thoughts were HELL NO you can’t wear that, you’ll look ridiculously fat etc etc. However, seen as I’m trying to attempt different styles lately, against my supposedly better judgement I bought it. The dress on the picture doesn’t have the waistline I like at all, I refuse to have a tight outfit on around my tummy, that’s just not a good look on me. But with it being very stretchy material it meant that I could pull it up and hide everything under a belt. In my Cheeky purchase post I said I would team it with leggings and a cardigan, and I did. My bum looks massive in it, but in…
