Meadowhall’s Ladies’ Night has truly evolved. From a couple stalls and unenthusiastic staff years ago, into tonnes of stalls from the most unexpected brands, actives, classes, pampers, and so much more! In fact there was so much to do and see that the mere 4 hours flew by in the blink of an eye and there wasn’t actually enough time to do and see everything. Obviously that’s a great thing as it means there was more than enough going on to ensure that every lady went home happy and pampered. This year there was a special gathering for local bloggers and I had such a lovely time. I know most Sheffield and nearby bloggers now, but there are still so many I haven’t met yet, so I made it my mini mission to talk to new people and make new friends.
We started off with Cocktails and a bite to eat at Giraffe. I’m really loving Giraffe lately, not only has the lovely manager that used to work at Tapas Revolution moved there, but they also have incredible cocktails. The staff are so friendly, the food is always amazing, and it’s a real comfy and chilled place to eat in Meadowhall. After enjoying a cocktail or two, we headed to my actual favourites, Tapas Revolution. I’ve not long been back from Spain so I did confuse the waiter when I ordered in Spanish, vino blanco on the mind still! We had such an incredible feast and I don’t think anyone was expecting it. Paella, Arroz Negro, Gambas, it was seriously tapas heaven.
Afterwards we took a stroll to the Beauty Bar, but unfortunately we had spent so long eating that we missed our main slot and so most people split off to go to the counters and brands that they really wanted to see. The Beauty Bar was definitely worth sticking around for though, and quite a few bloggers did. They had everything. You could have your hair done from Aveda, arm massages from Lush, perfect pout lesson from MAC, NYX foundation colour match, your nails painted, contours for Urban Decay, peachy glows from Too Faced, and so much more. Upstairs there were actual massages taking place from Elemis and Clarins, and of course they had a huge queue.
As well as all of this many brands, and restaurants had exclusive discounts and offers instore. Obviously any happy hours are my kind of pamper, but 20% off Simply Be was very tempting! I also loved how there was entertainment around Meadowhall too, including incredibly talented musicians.
There’s definitely something for every kind of lady at Meadowhall Ladies’ Night and I was incredibly impressed with this year’s offerings, I’m already looking forward to attending the next one. Thanks for a great night and a lovely goodie bag!
Obviously with it being a ladies’ night, I wanted to look quite girly and so I opted for my new Collectif Floral Dolores and it was definitely the perfect thing to wore. Everyone had such lovely things to say about the dress and it kept me from completely overheating in a busy Meadowhall. I wear a size 22 in Dolores Dresses and although they’re very comfortable around the bust and waist, the elasticated arms do become a tad annoying. I was meant to be wearing this on holiday but it arrived a couple hours after we left. I threw on a very light Yours Clothing Cardigan and of course, my new favourite bag from Joanie Clothing. The dress is currently on offer and available in all sizes so act fast if you like it enough to want one yourself!
