It’s been a little while since my last Makeup Revolution review, but that doesn’t at all mean that I haven’t been using their products, or carrying them around with me. I’ve not adopted quite a few palettes into my weekly mix and I seem to be wearing nothing but their felt liner as it is just so beyond easy to apply. This week, although a little delayed thanks to Mr Postman and Christmas, the new Makeup Revolution, I Heart Makeup Naked Chocolate Palette arrived through my door and I am so utterly impressed. Below is a little collage I put together for my Instagram.
As most of Makeup Revolutions insanely amazing products, this is also a dupe for Too Faced I believe? Forgive me if I’m wrong, I’m not really into many high end brands. There’s really no need to be when you can get a £7.99 dupe though. The Naked Chocolate Palette literally looks like a bar of white chocolate, which didn’t really appeal to me as it’s a little bulky and it’s definitely going to fight to get into my draw. However, with how much I love it, I doubt it’ll be going away much.
With 16 nude shades and a mixture between shimmer and matte, you really can create just about any subtle to glamorous look. I was even able to fill my eyebrows in with ‘White’ which is actually the dark brown on the bottom row, and a wet brush. I must say, Choc-Fest (top right) is definitely my favourite colour as it’s a brown with a lot of red in it, it creates such a perfect crease colour too.
I saw somewhere on Twitter that this palette even has a little cocoa powder added into the eyeshadows to create a chocolatey scent, an amazing little touch. As always, the eyeshadows are beyond velvety to touch and blend like an absolute dream. This is such a wearable palette for every skintone.
I cannot express enough that if you haven’t tried out Makeup Revolution yet you are really missing out. I definitely recommend their eyeshadow palettes, I don’t really use anything else now.
*Makeup Revolution very kindly sends me things every now and again to blog about. They’ve taken over my makeup drawers and I have so much love for them.
