Lush’s Ultrabland

Ultrabland is a facial cleanser, but it is also the best makeup remover I have ever used. It’s the only product that fully takes my mascara off without taking a couple of eyelashes out with it.
It’s made up of only ten ingredients and they are,
Almond Oil, Rose Water, Beeswax, Honey, Fresh Iris Extract, Glycerine, Rose Absolute, Tincture of Benzoin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
Which makes it a very waxy consistency that cuts through all types of makeup and lifts them. I used this after my Dior Double Flick post which meant I had a lot of makeup on, but that made no difference to Ultrabland as it still worked magic and took everything off in no time!

Picture 1 shoes what Ultrabland looks like, a yellow wax.
Picture 2 shows how much I used for a lot of makeup, usually it wouldn’t even take that much.
Picture 3 is after I’ve worked it into my eyebrow, as you can see it’s completely lifted it.
Picture 4 is mid-attacking my eye with ultrabland.
Picture 5 shows the method of taking it off, you must use a hot wet cloth, or damp cotton wool. You can take it off with toner water, although it feels better to use water first and then tone afterwards.
It helps if the cloth has some sort of texture to it, for any tough parts like heavy eye makeup.
Picture 6 shows me half way through of taking it off. It roughly takes 5 minutes tops.
It costs £6.75 for a small tub and £10.75 for a large one (mine) but depending on how much you would use, it’d last a good couple months! It’s also fantastic for problematic skin, as it helps to rebalance the natural oils in your face and that would help to maintain breakouts, even to stop your skin becoming overly oily. Miracle in tub really.

Have you used ultrabland before? If so, what do you think of it? If not, WHY NOT?
