You know when you don’t realise how much you love a dress until you see it on and realise you look amazing? This is what happened with the Karina Penelope Dress at $108. I love Karina dresses I’ve reviewed two now the Megan and Trudy as I’m actually a brand ambassador, I don’t think I’ve told you all that before? But yeah, I like the brand so much and they thankfully like my style too so every month (unless the post loses a dress again and it’s a little later) I’ll be featuring one of their beautiful dresses! Perfect for my readers in American and I know there’a a lot of you, as they’re based there, but for the UK, I will include postage information at the bottom.
The Penelope 3/4 sleeve dress is by far my favourite, it features a criss-cross v-neck, along with small gathers on front and back bodice making it feel fitted and draw the waist in. The pleated skirt even has pockets and I know how much people love a dress with pockets! Karina Dresses are by far the easiest to wash, dry and no ironing. The dresses also don’t go bobbly like a lot of brands which means you get tonnes of wear out of them.
Unfortunately Karina only go up to a XXL which is me, a 20/22 max. The dresses so have a lot of stretch in them if you are a little bigger but I hope as the brand expands than they make their sizing range available to more plus size women as these dresses really are darling and would look incredible on anyone.
I can’t forget shoes, I am wearing these beautiful shoes that shockingly fitted perfectly despite my awkward feet! I’m not one for reviewing shoes as my feet are just so stubby and wide, it means that often they turn up and I just can’t get my feet in them. However, these Van Dal Elm ee Fit Court Shoes are an EE fit making them perfect for wide feet, they also have a soft cushion on the inside and seen as they’re not super high, they’re so easy to walk in. They’re currently £42 from Jones Bootmaker!
