Don’t worry, I know we’re half way through October, but there are plenty more looks coming. Everyone is being rather slow at planning Halloween collaborations this year, so there’s a lot of things coming in at last minute and my fancy dress box is now out of control. Whilst waiting for things to arrive, I decided to recreate a, much better in my opinion, Ice Queen look. Click here to see my past one which I actually won a competition with!
This look was shockingly simple to create. I used Le Maq Pro foundation to create a white base and then a sponge to contour with light blue, dark blue eyeshadows, as well as more white. It’s very subtle to see with the flash but you can see it close up, I just wanted to create a sort of frozen look and I definitely think it worked well.
For all the blues, of course, I was using Makeup Revolution Palettes again, mixing them with the foundation until they were thick enough to sponge and dab onto my skin. I obviously used them dry for eyeshadows and then a wet brush to create a thick, blue brow. For my eyelashes that was a little more complicated, I used a white glitter from Makeup Atelier Paris, Starlight, and lash glue to stick the glitter on and create frozen lashes. This worked incredibly well as the glitter is absolutely out of this world and beyond sparkly. I have since started trying to wear it on a day to day basis without looking like a fairy.
I teamed this look with a past Chi Chi London dress and one of my beautiful Blue Annabelle’s Wigs, combined the darkness of outside, I am super happy with how these turned out. To finish the look I used another Makeup Revolution Palette with a silver and blue eyeshadow to colour my lips, again creating a dry and cracked, frozen look.
Nothing was really sponsored for this post, I just used things that I have already been sent in the past or have bought myself. What do you think of my Ice Queen and what would you like to see next?
