I never imagined myself saying that I actually like pearls, but Absolute Pearls has changed my mind completely. I always remember my Nan wearing her pearl necklace and it’s never been something that I could see myself in, until now. Pearl necklaces don’t have to full of pearls, they can be simplistic and make a statement with just one single pearl. I recently recent the White Pearl Pendant Necklace and I love wearing it out and about. I wouldn’t consider this piece strictly for special occasions, as I’ve found that with daytime outfits it’s the perfect accessory to add a sparkle and hint of sophistication.
This pearl necklace is currently reduced from £85 to £65, making it an affordable gift for a loved one, or to yourself. Even a pretty good gift for Valentine’s Day! The chain is quite small at 45cm and doesn’t come too far down at all, but it’s still a good length to not become a choker, I don’t quite understand when people like super small chains. The pearl has been combined with new art to create a fashionable and wearable design.
The packaging was absolutely delightful for the pearl necklace as you can have it gift wrapped for free and you don’t need to worry about a thing. I loved the bright red box against the white and black paper, it really made the necklace feel even more special when opening it. The Pearl is 8.5-9mm and has a Chinese Cultured Freshwater Origin, as you can see, the pearl is perfectly round too.
I was asked how I would style this necklace and as I said, I quite like it for daytime, so I actually wore it in my last outfit post with a black lace top, and statement skirt. For makeup, I definitely think this calls for a statement with a heavy lip and fluttery eyes. I didn’t want to draw too many attention from the necklace, but I think all in all, they compliment each other well. I can definitely see myself wearing this on many more occasions, and potentially investing in pearls a little more. They are simplistic elegance.
What do you think to Absolute Pearls and how would you style this necklace?
