I am so happy that Gatsbylady came into my life because I am falling in love with allllll of their dresses and I’m super excited to tell you all that they’ll now be a monthly post featuring one of their beautiful dresses! Super exciting and I cannot wait to play dress up with them. For this dress I decided to take it after I had my brother’s girlfriend french plait my hair which made it really big and curly. I thought it’d be nice to see so much of my bright hair against the beautiful purple pattern.
The Gatsbylady Alice is a beauty. I knew it would be from the studio photos but seeing it in person made me do real life love heart eyes. As always with Gatsbylady it’s incredible quality, heavy and there’s no sequins falling off like you can find from some brands. I love the quality of their dresses, it really warrants the £99 price tag and I don’t often say that about clothes. These dresses are made to wow and they certainly do. The Alice Flapper Dress in Black Purple is my favourite Gatsbylady dress so far. Obviously it’s inspired from the 1920s Vintage Era and actually hand crafted with the finest Glass Beads and Sequins! The dresses not only look incredible but they’re also super comfy to wear. You don’t feel the weight of them and they don’t scratch or irritate at all. I cannot wear this to the casino, as that’s our favourite place for a family meal, as it’s just perfection. I love that it has light sleeves too with extra pretty detail and despite being a straight up and down design, the pattern makes this look amazing around my curves.
I wear a size bigger in Gatsbylady as I prefer the fit and I’d definitely recommend it to others as they do run sligthly small, but the 22 fits like a glove. A sexy, sparkly glove.
