False eyelashes aren’t something that I usually experiment with, I’m more of the type to bulk buy as soon as I find a pair that’s perfect for my eye shape. However, for the last couple weeks I’ve been trying out a little selection from Salons Direct and seeing what they had to offer. It included a beautiful pair of false lashes called the Ardell Double Up Strip Lashes. They did come up a tiny little bit too short as my inner corner as left wondering what to do, but the carefully angled camera disguises the mini gap.
The eyelashes unfortunately do not come with their own glue, but the packaging is very handy for storage and travelling as it’s a clickable plastic case. As the name hints at, these are lashes that have been doubled up to double the drama and they definitely do that. I decided to go for a very dramatic eye with a defined cut crease, and a messy brow as I’m growing them out. At only £3.50 they’re definitely worth trying out for that beautiful fluttery eye.
The other pair of lashes I received are the Ardell Runway Strip Lashes Naomi Black which unfortunately, were not as impressive. The are an awful lot shorter and therefore make my eyes look smaller. When your have your entire eye makeup on, they’re easy enough at £2.50 to get away with. However, I did have to decide not to add mascara to my bottom lashes, as I thought they’d probably end up looking longer….
I also got the chance to try out the Elchim 3900 Healthy Ionic Hairdryer, which is an absolute beauty and straight away replaced my usual hair dryer. Elchim is meant to be the most powerful Italian range that uses a high pressure to cut drying time by more than 30%. It has 2 speed settings, 4 heat settings and thankfully is extremely lightweight for travelling and ease of holding it. Salons Direct even offer a 14 day money back guarantee which I severely doubt anyone will need to use.
This new hair dyer combined with my Cloud Nine drying spray has meant that styling my hair has been easier than ever. I am completely taken by this hair dryer and I definitely won’t be swapping back any time soon.Overall I have absolutely loved my experience with Salons Direct and I’ll definitely go to them for more beauty products! Have you tried Salons Direct before?
