I absolutely love the fact that Evans is stocked at House of Fraser, it means that when Evans don’t seem to have a sale on, HoF might or vice versa! Affordable clothes all year round, and that’s what makes my World go round. Obviously, and more importantly, it does also mean that there’s extra Scarlett & Jo stock, most of the time, with a pretty good discount too! Anyway, I recently picked out this Evans Smoke Print Batwing Dress, as I just fancied trying something a little different and it definitely is for me….
I should have waited until now to take the photos as it was roasting hot on this day to shove leggings on, but this dress isn’t really one to be able to go bare legged with, as it may be a slanted finish, but it does and can ride up…. I’m wearing a size 20 and it’s spot on as always with Evans. I love this new trend of shoulder splits for something different, although at first it does feel rather weird and breezy.
Being an hourglass shape means that when I wear things like this, that don’t necessary show off my curves at all, it’s not the best shape on me. It covers me up completely and doesn’t show off anything or make me feel like, well, me! Although, it’s nice to try different, I guess this is why I dress how I do, I know my shape and I know how to assecuate it. I don’t want to cover myself up, I want my waist to be defined, my hips and boobs to look huge and my chest to be displayed in my usual high cleavage way. But that’s just me and I know that for some, this tunic type dress would be perfection for their shape.
At £30 it’s a steal as it’s such an amazing quality and will definitely be great throughout Autumn/Winter to wear with jeans, leggings, jeggings etc. It’s now only available in a 16-20 due to selling out though, so think fast! I’m growing increasingly impressed with House of Fraser‘s plus size range, simply because more and more seems to be added every time I work with them, and that’s exactly what us plus size ladies want, more options, more choices, more clothes! There’s something pretty exciting coming up with myself and House of Fraser very soon, so stay tuned for more….
