I love Ursula
but oh my, this is now my new favourite which I know is a big thing to say… Introducing, my Pop Art Snow White Halloween look! This was actually requested as a Disney Princess Pop Art look and I just thought that Snow White would be perfect to create for it and I am over the moon with how she came out and how these photos look, I wanted to post them immediately but I’ve held off until now. Thank you so much to Annabelle’s Wigs
for providing me with the Dita wig last year, I only ever wear their wigs for my looks and they always finish them off to absolute perfection. Also, my new best friends at Plus Size Lingerie Boutique for not only hooking me up with the best Ursula Costume
, but now this beautiful Snow White Costume. I wear a 2x/3xl as Plus Size Lingerie Boutique but I did find this costume really generous so I could have definitely worn a 2xl and it would have looked even better. There’s not much choice out there for plus size Halloween outfits, especially not good quality ones, so I’m so happy to be working with them. So…… what do you think??
Seriously though? Yes, or hell yes!? I wanted to recreate Snow White’s scared face when she’s running through the forest and this huge bush we have on the back garden is the perfect Halloween prop. I’ve previously done a step by step Pop Art Look so please go and see that for a tutorial, but if you get the gist and just want the product info….
You want a really thick and heavy base as after all, you’re trying to look fake and drawn on. So I used Estee Lauder Double Wear mixed with a tad of my Le Maq Pro Foundation in White as I do want to be as pale as possible, but so the white dots still show up. Concealed with Collection Concealer and powdered with MAC Studio Fix Foundation and Powder for even more coverage. Yes, I know that’s an awful lot, but that’s the point! Add a lot of pink blush, I’m using Max Factor, for that Disney Princess flush.Eyes/black linesReally simply for the eyes and all black lines as they are just one product applied with some sort of idea in mine where you want your features to be. I’m using my new Mii Gel Eyeliner
which applies quite wet but dries fast to allow for fixing and altering any lines.
Eyelashes are Lash Boutique
, a very big dramatic pair will do.
On my lips I’m using Makeup Atelier Paris Lip Stain with a white dot of Le Maq Pro foundation.
Le Maq Pro foundation mixed with eyeshadow, I wanted something that would dry faster so I tried to make a very thick and dry paste so it didn’t smudge as much. Ideally, Illamasqua Liquid Liner in white is a lot better for this but it does take quite a lot of product and effort to get it out of the little tube.
I’m in love. If I do end up doing anything for Halloween, I will definitely be wearing this! I’ll just need to wear something on my shoulders at the material and my skin didn’t react well, but thankfully we still got some amazing shots just in time before I had to take it all off.
Thanks again to Alfie
for taking amazing photos for me! Do go and check out my other Halloween looks this year on my Halloween tab
