I can’t say I planned this look at all but I LOVE how it came out. Originally it was meant to be a Fire Goddess but everyone suggested Phoenix types of names, so Dark Phoenix just made sense. To create this look, it was rather simple and didn’t need many products at all.
I used my usual base of Makeup Atelier Paris Waterproof Foundation and whilst the base was still wet, I started to draw on the fire around my eyes, side of face and neck using a Makeup Revolution Red lipstick. The orange and yellow are from a very old Beauty UK palette patted on to really get the best of the pigment. I outlined a little of the flames with Illamasqua black gel liner, as well as filling in my lips with it and creating a big winged liner. Then apart from my usual powder and a MAC red blusher to tone done the shininess of the lipstick, that was it! Add a black wig from Annabelle’s Wigs and my Scarlett & Jo Black Lace dress and it was complete. What do you think?
Nothing was necessarily sponsored for this post but once upon a time I did receive the dress and wig.
