I’ve really come to love Caudalie but with having such oily skin, it means I have to tread carefully. Luckily, I always have the best recommendations and this time I’ve definitely found a few new favourites…
Instant Detox Mask – £22
I actually have this on right now and it’s a firm favourite of mine. It’s a pink clay formula that dries tight and leaves your skin feel so soft, and looking less oily thanks to its soothing ingredients. You only need to apply this twice a week for 5 – 10 minutes, making it a super easy and effective mask.
Glycolic Peel Mask – £22
This is a completely different mask, it’s moisturising and thicker. It’s not a peel mask as the name suggests, instead it just works like one for your skin. I applied a much thicker layer the first couple of times I wore this, but really you just need a nice even layer to get the full effects. Your skin looks brighter and feels softer the second you wash it off. I only use this one once a week, and I use Glycolic pads a couple days after.
3 in 1 Moisturiser – £32
This is such an incredibly light moisturiser that disappears in seconds. It has ingredients that make it glow up your skin, fight wrinkles, and fight pollution. I love using this when I’m just working in the house with no makeup on, it isn’t great underneath makeup because there isn’t enough moisture left on top of the skin for makeup to glide on. But it is fantastic at keeping my oil buildup at bay during a working day.
By now everyone knows that the reason oily skin occurs is because it’s actually trying to produce enough oils to keep your skin hydrated. Which means you can’t skip on a decent face oil or heavier moisturiser every now and again. I don’t use this every single night as then it’s too much for my skin and I start to break out. Instead it’s like a once a week night treatment. It’s a seriously impressive oil that helps with the stress of pollution, UV rays, and other harmful daily stresses to the skin.
