I’m turning 19 on the 27th of this month and since blogging, I’ve pretty much used it as an excuse to buy anything and EVERYTHING. I know I’m not the only one and I’d usually buy makeup monthly anyway, but in the last couple months I find myself spending hours in Superdrug/Boots/Debenhams swatching everything, getting friends to have their makeup done, as I’m obviously not going to let them do mine again, and trying it all. This has made my Birthday/Christmas list incredibly difficult as I don’t really need anything. Working at Lush has also meant that I don’t really want lots of different body lotion/bath sets from Boots this year, because I don’t use/need them!
So after much consideration and looking for things I’d actually use, I finally made a list!
The Scarlett & Jo powerfit dress has already been ordered. I managed to get it from Evans down from £45 to £32, I am ridiculously good at finding discounts! I’ve been looking at these dresses for so long that it was time to try one.
Sikkim Girls perfume is from Lush and I am obsessed with it. It’s a very strong jasmine smell that soon settles down to be a sultry and beautiful scent.
Ghost perfume is something that I have loved for years and received on pretty much every occasion. Midnight has to be my favourite, I’ve tried a lot of the others but I always come back to this one. I can’t really remember the smell as it’s been a while but I know I love it!
The only thing I want from Boot’s 3 for 2 this year is scrubs. Very harsh scrubs. I’m not a fan of soap, I prefer exfoliators or even shower gels with some kind of soft exfoliant in there. I just love scrubbing a layer of skin off. Soap and Glory have some fantastic scrubs but I’m loving the look of the Hot Salt Scrub from Sanctuary!
Benefit’s Porefessional is something I love. I had a sample size of it and just never got round to buying it for myself.
I’ve always loved Benefit’s high beam but only recently got to try it on my own skin. I’m looking for a good highlighter and this one is fantastic.
I’ve tried Smashbox’s eyelid primer and didn’t think much to it, everyone raves about this primer so I think it’s time we got together.
Finally, I know I wasn’t impressed with Illamasqua’s skinbase but seen as it’s running out I find myself wanting more. I had it in 3.5 which was a lovely match, it just meant I didn’t have to wear as many layers to get my desired coverage.
Like I said, there isn’t much I need, rather that I’d just like to have, but I guess that what Birthdays are for! Have you guys made any wishlists lately?
